Hans Zimmer is my favorite composer, and this song is just so epic. It makes you feel like you just made the greatest discovery in the world or something.

Would have to say Into The Wild and Forrest Gump. Eddie Vedder did amazing work with into the wild, great soundtrack on it's own but so much better incorporated into the movie. Gump just has a collection of the best songs from the 60's and 70's; this however might be lost on the younger generation readers.
Donnie Darko has a pretty cool soundtrack!

Yes indeed it does, the final scene with Mad World playing is one of my favourite scenes from any movie

What?! Nobody said, Night at the Roxbury?!

Movie has got some of the best dance songs of the 90's in it.

classic.
A bit off topic here but another great scene from that film

Not sure I'd have to go back and listen to a few to decide on a favorite over all but I've been listening to How to Train Your Dragon a lot.

I'd like to venture A Clockwork Orange. One of the things I loved about that movie was its very unconventional sound.

Star Wars. How is this even a question? John Williams all the way. The Imperial March is the best villain theme of all time, The Asteroid Field is the best chase music of all time, The Force Theme is the best leitmotif of all time, and even the mediocre-at-best prequels had brilliance such as Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes. And I'm not going to post any links, because everyone should have already bought the soundtracks.

Lion King :D

Also, this 90's movie about a record store... Empire Records, I think it was called.

And another one.
Pixies did a good cover of it.

I don't watch many movies.

I loved the Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack. One of the few times I can remember where the compilation of different artists and Original Score came in two separate discs in the same package.

The Matrix, Lord of the Rings and the Bourne Trilogies; oh yeah; I really need to get the soundtrack for the Bourne Identity though.

Studio Ghibli does a damned fine job.

Although I'm currently listening to the Casshern OST- still brilliant.
