Monty python never made a trilogy, they made 4 movies that had nothing to do with each other.

You might say each one was something completely different! Mwehehehe! :] *AHEM*

To me, personally, Aliens was the winner of Trilogies. Alien was in itself a solid flick. Aliens defined what a GOOD sequel should be. Aliens 3 was a good addition.

I can't agree with people that say Terminator. Not as a trilogy! Heavens no! I mean, unless you go, "The Terminator," "Terminator 2 Judgment Day," and "Terminator 4 Salvation." Then yes. Because Terminator 3 doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. Does'texist!

By your logic, then, Aliens can't count, either.

Unless, of course, yer not counting that POS part 4...

In my logic, the sequels that are an absolute departure from the series as a whole, AND suck bad, don't exist. Aliens is my favorite of Ridley Scotts movies.

Well, I might not be the best, but my favorite is the Vengeance Trilogy. Which include three Korean movies:
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Oldboy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

Anyone who loves Oldboy should watch the other movies.
