Full Metal Jacket or Requiem for a Dream or Fight Club. Yeah I had some teachers who didn't care about the rules.

The best movie I had to watch in school would have to be Saving Private Ryan. The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and all three Terminators would be a close second though. Yeah...

there was another romeo and juliet i dont know who was in it but it was the gayest and most boring movie i ever saw i took a nap during it and by the looks of everyone when class ended i wasnt the only one also titanic i dont know why we watched it but by the halfway mark entire class was chanting SINK SINK SINK and when it did we cheered and danced
god my class was messed up
EDIT: but we had fun isnt that all that matters?

"The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe".

Field trip while it was in theaters. Great day, that was.
Same here, man. Too bad it got my teacher fired, though.

OT: We watched Gandhi in my freshmen history class. That was a good week.

Easy!

Memento in psychology. It perfectly fit into our studies of parts of the brain and functions, plus it's easily one of the best movies of the last decade.

On a side note, after we were done with the AP lit test, we watched Cool Hand Luke, which has the single best scene in a movie ever.

Any man who disagrees with me spends a night in the box.

AP classes are awesome after the AP test.

We watched "Glory" during the last couple of days of school in my senior US History class. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Matthew Broderick, but he really nails this one.

the modern day romeo and juliet? that was awful...

anyways, the best movie i have ever seen in school would probably be the Patriot...

the senior class apparently watched the hangover, so i think they win though...

BUT WAIT! the most interesting movie ever watched was the pirates of silicon valley. i loved it.

Hamlet. The one with Robin Williams in it. It was awesome. To Kill A Mockingbird was also pretty sweet. I don't remember what 1984 was like.

"Gattaca" in Biology because "it's about Genetics". Of course the movie does not teach much about Biology (imo it would be a better fit for sociology), but it's one of my favorite movies.

Not necessarily an awful film, but for some reason, during my years on various schools, i've seen "The Truman Show" more than i'd ever needed. I guess it has something to do with reality TV being a big thing back then, but it's still a movie without much educational value. Even "edTV" would've probably a better fit.

Watched a lot of great movies in my TV Productions class... Casablanca, Cool Hand Luke, the good Indiana Jones movies, the original Star Wars Trilogy, Forrest Gump, and a bunch of other "classics". Watched Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, Glory, Cinderella Man, and any other movie that relates to an era in american history in well... American History. Missed out on Up! in my Chemistry class, but I had watched it earlier that week so it didn't matter much... Damn, I love my school.

Edit: Forgot all of the movie adaptions of books we read in my english classes.
