Yeah Soundwave! If you get a chance see Pusifer! They're scary good live.

The best experience I've had a a concert is at a Mumford and sons put on festive in a remote town In Australia. I drove for four hours to get there in 40 degree heat and for some reason decided to dress up as where's Wally.

After a whole day of good music, sweating and photo-bombing people Mumford came out and the mosh got intense. You had to decide wheather your arms where going to be up or down because there wasn't enough room to have both.

Went to the Judas Priest Epitaph tour. Featuring Thinn Lizzy and Black Label society. By far the best concert I have ever gone to. Me and my buds managed to get in the very front of the stage. Thinn Lizzy and Black Label Society were good, but Judas Priest freaking tore that stage apart. They did like a 2 and a half hour set! Their new guitarist Richie Faulkner was amazing. he spent most of the time on stage by me and my friends, so I throw up the horns at him and he looks me dead in the eyes and points to himself, and then to me. freaking great. at the end of the concert Priest starts throwing out free gear, and Richie looks down and lops a pick in my general direction and it just lands in my hands. a little while later, I found another of his picks on the ground, based on the wear and tear on the tip of it, I am sure it was one of the ones he used onstage and flicked into the audience. when we all got back to the car we just sat there in silence for a second, because our ears were ringing like nobodies business.
Best concert experience ever.

I was at a Springsteen concert, and he starts off with Born in the USA. I instantly recognize it, and start singing along. And it's like Bruce and I are singing a duet together. That was the best part of the best concert I've been to.

Oh, The Prodigy last year at Download. I've never had such a crazy time seeing a band, ever. Jesus... If you were right down the front, it was just a mass of bug-eyed nutjobs covered in rave paints n(and us, dressed as pikachus).

As for gigs, the most recent on I went to was The Joy Formidable at The Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, they were fucking awesome. That is all.
Oh yay, I love those guys. They're at Reading Festival this year too, on Saturday. Yet another possible reason to go, because they are mesmerising.
Where did you get the info about them playing Reading/Leeds? Though to be fair, it doesn't surprise me seeing as they're touring their new album.
Oh, it was leaked:

I first saw them supporting Muse at the O2 and they were awesome. Damn near blew them off the stage.

Holy shit, if that's real that a ridiculously awesome lineup for R&L standards. Rage, The Prodigy and NIN? That's insane.
Yeah, I agree. Reading/Leeds does quite like to leak stuff, so I think it's a fair chance that this lineup is the real deal.

Shame about Fall Out Boy, though.

I saw Roger Water's "The Wall". The imagery was incredible and so was the music.

I'm one of those rare freaks who hates concerts because they don't sing it exactly like they do on the CD, a developed distaste for live versions of songs, an intolerance for audience noise, & they're just too loud. The opera is different however, especially since anyone making noise in the audience gets ejected.

I've heard Rush's shows are really great. The big tron they have that displays images appropriate to whatever song they are playing along with possibly one of the biggest light set-ups in the business make it something really special.

I've also heard from friends that Wacken Open Air is a blast, but you kind of have to be dedicated to make it through.

Leeds Festival 2009:

Friend fell asleep naked during the day, was sunburnt, someone threw a bottle of piss at him and he started a fight.
Another friends hand fell into the fire burnt all his hand but didn't notice for 12 hours from being that drunk.
I stole a gas mask off a bloke and we nearly fell off a ferris wheel.
Created the Yorkshire Dicking Crew and had to see how many people we could touch with our dicks before being noticed, I won with 12.
Bunch of other stuff but I'm not posting that here.

Been to a few concerts, and all of them are memorable. Not counting opening acts though, sometimes they suck donkey balls and sometimes they rock they place how they should.

Zebrahead
Sabaton
Flogging Molly
Iron Maiden

Last night i went to Mooi Wark (Dutch band, the only good dutch artist IMO) and that was a crazy wild night. More beer through the air / on the floor / on you that we could drink.
Got my first pick ever from a show there.

Now i am just counting down the days till i get to see Iron Maiden live again.

And might be ordering tickets for Graspop

Years ago, when Daft Punk was in Amsterdam for the Alive Tour. It was absolutely amazing. The support acts were a pleasant surprise as well. :D

Seeing Nirvana at Reading '92. Bit of a squeeze, though. Or Either of the times I saw Orbital at Glastonbury. The last one still makes me smile and get a bit misty eyed :'-)

Well, Soundwave lived up to my expectations and was freaking awesome! Started the day off with Mindless Self Indulgence and despite only knowing two of their songs they were pretty good. Followed that up by seeing Billy Talent which was probably my favourite part of the day. They had a lot of energy and when they played Red Flag it went off.

Then we saw Sum 41 and they were great and my cousin got to go on stage with them, he loved it haha

Blink 182 was next and despite not having Travis with them they put on a good show. It was so good to finally be able to see them.

Then it was Linkin Park and boy can they put on a show. Chester's voice and energy was amazing as was Mike's. Easily one of the best acts for the day.

Best gig I ever went to was Paramore in Nottingham, UK back in 2010.

So much energy and emotion in that night, it was unforgettable.

Pro tip: Skip to about 3:05 to watch Hayley Williams fall over on stage.
I saw Paramore but only knew a few of their songs but they were still great. Somehow, Hayley fell over here as well haha

I finished the day with The Offspring and they started off a bit slow but built up and when they got to Pretty Fly For A White Guy the crowd was going off and Self Esteem topped it off. Unfortunately they didn't play Original Prankster for some reason.

It was an absolutely amazing day and despite being sore all over from standing and moving all day I would gladly do it again.

Rammstein is the best show I've seen. Great setlist (not one song I wanted to hear was missed!), fantastic stage presence (Till boiling Flake with a flamethrower was particularly great) and an interesting opener (a DJ remixing several Rammstein songs). The mosh pit completed the experience.

Roger Waters: The Wall Live takes a close second.
