Much as I am completely in love with the Dark/Demon's Souls series, much as I think Uncharted is an amazing example of just how complete a video game can be, much as I admire Infamous, Catherine, Resistance, Portal and Valkyira Chronicles, I agree with the OP. LittleBigPlanet does it for me, for its artistic design, for its balanced, fun gameplay, for its near limitless potential, and for its groundbreaking innovation. Game of the generation.

Actually I'm going to go with Journey. it was really well made and promoted a huge sense of community, whilst not knowing who anyone actually was.

It would've been Assassin's Creed if hadn't completely overstayed its welcome.

I'm gonna have to go with Mass Effect despite... well, you know. This doesn't mean it's my favourite game series of this generation, but I do think it had the biggest impact, disregarding you-know-what.
