Best NPC in any game

I really want to say Captain Price, but you play him in a mission, so no. So i'm going to go with... Nope, I can't do it, Captain Price it has to be.

Totally forgot about Price...the dude was in WWII AND shows up in Modern Warfare! I've seen him stand on grenades and run headfirst at people shooting at him, taking bullets in his chest left and right! Who doesnt want an immortal baddass dude with a mustache leading them into battle. (Although Jack bauer leading us in the pacific was a close second)

On that note I'll add Johnson from Halo into the badass unkillable soldier npcs group.

Jolee Bindo no question. He was one of the funniest characters in any game ever. I remember when I was on the Sith homeworld and some punk kid walks up talking crap and he asks "Do you know how many Sith are here" and Jolee goes "Twelve? No wait, thirteen!" I laughed my arse off

This. I could be really annoying and argue that he's not really an NPC since you have direct control over him; but he's not the protagonist, so it's close enough. He's one of the greatest characters in any game, hands down. Ok, he's dumb, but he's a good person, and is completely committed to wiping out evil. He's also completely loyal to the protagonist, and prepared to do anything to help them.

Provided you're not evil, anyway. Because then he might just have to administer a butt-kicking! For goodness!
