I HATED Cortana in Halo 3. Stops you in the middle of the action to give you some philosophical bull speech.JackB said:Cortana, Canderous Ordo
So not Sheva?Dark assassin for hire said:I don't think there is a best. The things a NPC need to have in order to be good are
1 no annoying catch phrase they say when they kill something
2 depending on the game, be an ok fighter or a flee from any monster
3 don't make you redo a level when they die
4 don't waste rare items
5 don't walk in circles and repeat one line over and over (this is if they are not in a town)
6 don't switch from npc to player
7 don't be useless
I might have forgotten one or two things but game designers have mostly forgotten them all. Until these things are put into an npc, they are all annoying.

Haha easy my friend, I hate her as much as you do, I stopped playing that game because of the ****.Dark assassin for hire said:YES NOT SHEVA.
She breaks rules 3, 4 and 7... mabye not that bad but she breaks the rules of good npc and in resident evil 5, you're fighting zombie creature like things... that game breaks too many rules. She should be scared (sheva breaks rule 2 as well then.BolognaBaloney said:So not Sheva?Dark assassin for hire said:I don't think there is a best. Real exchange between me and my TV set:
Cortana-"Would you sacrifice me to complete your mission?"
Me-"*****, I would sacrifice you for pancakes."
Okay, maybe I spoke too quickly.JackB said:Oh. That's nice.Rensenhito said:I HATED Cortana in Halo 3. Stops you in the middle of the action to give you some philosophical bull speech.JackB said:Cortana, Canderous Ordo

I kinda liked the whole plot-thickening Cortana hallucination glitch thing the FIRST time I played through the campaign. Not the second, third, or seventy-fifth.
