I made a bunch of about 15 people think I was a Russian called Jim for about 3 hours before me and my friend got bored and pissed off.

To be fair, they knew who I (James Czerwik) was, and I was aliased as Jemnavik Schevak, which isn't that far off. I was questioned about who I really was, but I just dismissed it and they rolled with it.

3 hours!

My friend was passed out drunk so me and some of my other mates put gloves and a balaclava on him and stapled his clothes together i.e. end of his sleeves to his gloves and his collar to the balaclava etc.
We put a bit too many staples in as we had to cut him out when he couldn't get himself out but it was still funny.

I convinced a friend that he was bleeding out of his ass. It was a tasteless and shameful thing to do. Oddly enough, he was more concerned about his appearance and the wellbeing of his trousers than mysterious rectal trauma.
He got back at me by convincing me that some youngster had spat on my jacket. Damn nearly kicked the kid's ass, as well.

I don't like pranks much.

My friends and I have often wondered if we need enemies considering the lengths we'll go to in order to royally piss each other off for a cheap laugh. We have... putting makeup on someone while they're asleep aswell as taping chocolate digestives to their face (chocolate side down of course...) and hitting them with frozen beef before proceeding to pile up everything on top of them that isn't bolted down. Cutting off the power to the house at some random point in the evening then hiding in different parts of the house wearing masks(that's a group one, last time we did it the victim ended up under a table crying) and if there's lots of you... well, just generally trashing a friends house without them actually seeing anyone do anything then making up a story about some nutcase on the loose (surprisingly that one worked). Oh and who could forget graffiteing your friends car with lots of phallic symbols and pouring sand all over it so they get a surprise when they turn on the air conditioning. Not to mention climbing into the drivers seat when its switched off and putting it in first gear and laughing hysterically as they try to start up and inevitably stall.

That's a handful right there which reminds me I need to think up ways to mess with my friends when I go to see them next month.

me and my friend once edited my other friends files on oblivion. basically what would happen is that he would open the game and it would come up with a picture of me and my partner in crime. once thats done the menu screen (which would normally have a rolling screen of the oblivion map and oblivion in big letters at the top) would display rick astley doing the o'so famous rick roll with rickroll music in the background. in game we changed the music sound files to:

combat=benny hill
caverns and dungeons= either sugar plum fairy or in the hall of the mountain king
towns= pretty woman or YMCA (village people)
environment and general outdoors= eye of the tiger, great escape or black betty

his face was priceless and surprisingly enough he decided to keep the benny hill stuff instead of the normal oblivion fight music

Me and a bunch of people were sleeping in my friends creepy-ass barn, and we waited for one kid to fall asleep then woke him up saying we saw Slenderman. Needless to say, he freaked out. (If you don't know who slenderman is, google him.)

A couple of buddies and myself got into a Prank War at work one year. It started simple enough. I took a picture of one of the guys and photocopied it then made a "Have you seen this missing girl" poster out of it and hung it on the company cork board. They stuck Feta cheese in my desk on my day off so when I came back it was ripe and quite disgusting. etc etc.

It eventually escalated, as these things often do, with them smearing toothpaste under the door handle of my car and my retaliation of using hot glue to affix unrolled condoms on their headlights.

Once it got to that level I suggested a cease fire before one of us got arrested for willful destruction of personal property.

Isn't messing with someone's clothes, pouring stuff or drawing on people who are passed out a bit of a stereotypical jockish douchey type thing to do... brahhh? John Madden wooo and what not.

Myself, in order to cement that leaving sharp knives in the washing up bowl is not sensible I covered my finger in ketchup and yelled out in pain when they came in I mocked them for their concern and I think the subtext of the prank was received.

When I worked in an electrical store while on lunch my boss and I saw fit to prank other workers as a semi training exercise. I had bought an MP3 player and we had some replica display digital cameras, we placed a replica camera in with my MP3 player and then after the search before leaving turned up nothing my boss pulled me to one side pretended to search me more thoroughly and pulled out the camera. The faces of the other staff were hilarious. Again the subtext of the prank was well received.

It wasn't me, but I want to pass along a prank a friend of mine (Nick) did to this other guy (Tom). Nick and I went to Tom's place the morning after Tom went out for his first clubbing experience. Tom was dead asleep, and Nick got a terrible idea. He took off everything except his boxers and crawled into bed with Tom, then I handed Nick a bottle of massage oil and left the room. Tom took about half an hour to wake up, and I heard the screams from the porch.

Would it be bad if I only prank people on April fools and after us agreeing it's ok?

OT: I put beef and chicken bullion cubes in a few peoples shower heads, I thought that was rather funny.

Other than the standard facebook abuse whenever someone forgets to log off/lock their computer, not much. And I've stopped doing that, purely because I've run out of things to write. (when the same person leaves their computer on and leaves the house at least five times a day on a regular basis, there's only so many things you can write - I ended up asking /b/ for advice, before realising that that was a really bad idea. Especially if you inadvertently leave your own name in the screencap. Never again)

Oh, I have a friend who decided the 'yellow car' game was still funny, and would giggle inanely after getting us each time one went past. So a group of us found 3 or 4 yellow car owners, convinced them to follow us for a bit, and then exacted our yellow car revenge on said friend. 'Twas good.

Wow, you really need to grow a sense of humor. And get some friends.

OT: Not really much of a prankster, myself. Although one time I did convince this kid to measure a parking space for no reason. That was funny.

One morning, I put on a V from V for Vendetta costume (it was right before Halloween) and scared the breath out of my orchestra teacher. It was awesome.
