me and my friend once edited my other friends files on oblivion. basically what would happen is that he would open the game and it would come up with a picture of me and my partner in crime. once thats done the menu screen (which would normally have a rolling screen of the oblivion map and oblivion in big letters at the top) would display rick astley doing the o'so famous rick roll with rickroll music in the background. in game we changed the music sound files to:

combat=benny hill
caverns and dungeons= either sugar plum fairy or in the hall of the mountain king
towns= pretty woman or YMCA (village people)
environment and general outdoors= eye of the tiger, great escape or black betty

his face was priceless and surprisingly enough he decided to keep the benny hill stuff instead of the normal oblivion fight music
I never did get you back for that did I?

I would like to add to this story that this happened in a college boarding house, i am a 2nd year, and they were both 1st years. I found that they did this about 2 weeks after they actually editted it, and about 4 days before i left the house, not to see either of them again... so if i didnt have a sudden craving to play it i would have left, with noone to tell me how to put it back to the way it was...
do you still have the benny hill music on it?

Scratching/rubbing out the numbers on a guy's padlock to his locker.
Padlocking a guy's backpack to a desk near the end of class and leaving.
Not really a prank, but more done out of spite. Nuggeting a backpack, dumping his books in random garbage bins throughout the school and filling his bag with nesquick. Though it had hilarious results.
A senior prank was me and a couple guys went to several dollar stores and we bought an obscene amount of those little rubber bouncy balls and we went to the top of stairwell that went up 4 or 5 floors and just dumped them all over the edge. It sounded like gunfire and the stairwell turned into a death trap of rubber balls ricocheting all over the place.

I once send an email to a colleague from the mailserver to make it look like it came directly from one of our team leaders. It told that this team leader was disgusted by him picking his nose and that he had a meeting with the other TL's for a few hours to unanimously come to the conclusion that he shouldn't be doing that. ... I couldn't keep my face straight after watching that guy read his mail. But I told him afterwards.

My best friend used to use his mobile phone as an alarm clock, so i put a mousetrap on it after he went to sleep one night.

Next morning you heard "BEEP BEEP, SNAP!! %^&*%£$^*%^*'

Also i remember with the Defence forces, a guy came back one night before Curfew really really drunk and passed out on his bunk, so we used Duct tape and taped him to the bunk, when it came to revelry he couldn't get out of bed, the Corporal in charge screamed blue murder at him roaring at him to get up and trying to supress his smile the entire time.
