Seriously, this guy has balls. How much guts and effort would it take to pull this off?

As for discussion value, what other completly awesome things have you guys seen?

PS: I would've laughed so hard if she said no.

EDIT:So supposedly this video is actually a fake

Pfft Farmville, i expect to a proposal through World at war if it has to be done through Facebook.

I'm reminded of dimitri martin's idea; breaking her hand, having the doctor slip on the ring, and 6 to 8 weeks later going "suprise, *****! will you marry me?" Then there's having someone stab you, putting the ring in the wound, (ow) telling her you were shot, and asking her to dig out the bullet.

Hot damn, that dude had guts. It sure takes a lot to perform a routine like that in front of so many people and the one you're looking to marry. I would have probably passed out right in the middle of it.

I saw that and it made my day.

Also I would have said no just for the laughs.
Should've said no through the Art of song and dance for added Hilarity

"Well i guess i could've married you but your hygene is a mess"
"and i slept with your own brother because he said "you look good in that dress" "

or something like that, i damn well have to try this out in future.

Ahhhhh, you have no romance in your soul... :p

Anyhoo, that was one of the cheesiest things I've ever seen, but as an old-fashioned romantic (not that it ever gets me anywhere :p) I say kudos to the guy. Really took some balls to do that, and I'm really happy for them. It'll be something fun to tell their kids and grandkids in years to come, at least :D

Oh wow, I can't help but feel sorry for that guy. Also, I can't help but laugh. She actually ran away!

My opinion is exactly the same as yours there. I was laughing all the way through, until they hugged, and then I got all soppy. Tis' truly adorable. Honestly, that guy has gotta be one of the bravest people ever. I'd collapse half way through that routine.

I'd propose via KillZone 3 in 3D, deathmatch.

Bullet between the eyes followed by "I fucking own you *****!", then possibly some romantic candlelight teabagging. ma bawls in yo face!

I always think it's a little unfair to propose like that, since it gives the other person little choice but to say yes or cause extreme damage to your relationship.

Those were my thoughts exactly whilst watching this. If she says yes, it'll be a magical moment n' all. But if she says no, that's gonna be a serious blow to their relationship.

Indeed.

That's why I found it funny in that Baskteball one where she said no. I think a part of loving someone is respect, and putting them on the spot like that is incredibly unfair.

Unless of course they have given the impression that being proposed to at a Basketball game or wherever would be a dream come true.

There was a couple that met through Halo 2 and have now been married for a year or so, they have their own website called 'A match made in Halo [http://amatchmadeinhalo.com/about/]'. Witty, huh.

THAT.WAS.AMAZING. The wedding would have to be something quite special to follow that though
EDIT: oh btw have you seen them streakers who met over the internet and decided to meet up by streaking at a football game and ended up getting married. That's pretty cool as well.
