Going by songs and not soundtracks, this one easy. I was so psyched when I started up the game for the first time and heard this start up. I love this song.

Beat me to it. I had to put this on my iPod after playing the game, and pausing it immediately to find out what song it was.

Soundtrack-wise: I'd have to either go with the awesome Green Hill Zone music that hooked me into the original Sonic game the second I started.


Song-wise: I actually loved the cover of Ziggy Stardust in the original Guitar Hero because of the guitar solo.


Also (I couldn't resist), my favorite Steely Dan song, Bodhisattva, in Rock Band 2. Killer solos, nice hook, and extremely fun to play.
