I'm going to second Community. If you haven't seen that show, go watch it right now. You won't regret it.
Another show with a great sense of humor is Arrested Development. Sure its a little old, but it's supposed to be returning next year. Definitely worth checking out.
And as long as we're on the subject of older shows, if you never watched Heroes back before it was cancelled then you should check that out. It should keep you entertained for a pretty good while.
That's the big one. There is absolutely no excuse for not having watched this show. (Breaking Bad, incidentally)
Apart from that:
Doctor Who
Dexter
The Shield
Supernatural
Modern Family
How I Met Your Mother
Community
30 Rock
The Office
The Walking Dead
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Legend of Korra
Firefly
Lost
Archer
Game of Thrones
Battlestar Galactica
Person of Interest
Alias
Sherlock
The Wire
24
Fringe
The Booth at The End (Hulu Exclusive)
Wilfred
Seriously, if anyone ever tells you there's nothing good on TV, slap them right in the face.
whenever any of you are able to see it, I'd recommend Disney's Zorro.
It debuted in 1957 and is considered one of the most well-known incarnations of the Zorro francise, and with good reason.
It's got great characters, brilliant writing, it's never dull, it's got some of the best fencing choreography I've ever seen, it's overall alot of fun to watch, I'd say it's easily well worth a look if you get the chance.
The Walking Dead. I don't really need to say much else, I think The Walking Dead is probably my favourite show of all time, I prefer it to both the comic and game as well. But I do also like -
Firefly
Game of Thrones
Sherlock
Doctor Who
Scrubs
The Simpsons
QI and other panel shows. (Us Brits do the funniest shows in my opinion)
...Just to name a few.
Economics, dude. The "CW" realized that their small little cult show with a modest following had a fan base that was actually passionate enough to make it one of their top rated shows.
Why slaughter the cash cow?
I was hoping they'd go back to their Urban Legend roots with that whole "Mother of Monsters" thing. But it's almost like the writers ran out of ideas for that about halfway through.
I wouldn't begin to list all the shows I like, there are just too many. Short list, most are random off the top of my head part way through:
Doctor Who
ALL the Star Trek
ALL the Stargate, except Stargate Universe, it does not exist to me. It was one of the biggest mistakes in TV history, which pretty much effectively killed the franchise.
Firefly
Terra Nova(I was really surprised by how much I liked that show, which is sad since like a lot of good shows, gets cut off after only one season)
Haven
Merlin
The X-Files
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Hercules
Xena
House
The Walking Dead
The Big Bang Theory
Futurama
Castle
Monk
The Last Detective
Scrubs
M*A*S*H
MacGyver
Miami Vice
The Drew Carey Show
Malcolm in the Middle
That 70's Show
That's enough for now, my mind can't grasp much more, even though I know there is far more. I could go into anime, but right now that only adds:
Baccano!
Spice and Wolf
Seriously, it kind of scares me on how many shows I like, which is why I hesitate on watching more that people recommend, because I already get lost in a sea of references, in that when I hear something, I usually can end up relating it to something I heard from a show I watched.

Doctor Who would have made the list a few years ago but since Moffat took over the show I have been either bored by the episodes or outright hated them because [insert random emotion here] wins the day over outerspace badguy number 1412. Plus I hate the Ponds. Good god did I hate the Ponds. And She who must not be named. I did, however like the Christmas episode which had neither the Ponds or THAT woman. But I honestly think that Moffat is highly overated. The way he got rid of the Ponds, I found a way round that inside of 2 mins. But at least they are gone.
Yup. I was at first liking Moffat taking over, because I liked a good portion of series 5, but I by the end of that series it was obvious that the train flew off the rails and into a volcano that then sunk into the ocean.
Since then, there have been hit and miss episodes, the good ones being where they actually focus mostly on The Doctor and he actually gets the majority of the screen time, and they are usually relatively stand alone episodes that add the least to series story arch.
Since taking over, Moffat has shown his flaw. He can only properly do small/static single episodes. When it comes to long and over arching series stories, he is a huge whale landing on a china shop, then gets blasted into space and nobody knows where he will land after that because his course is so erratic that the next landing spot can't be predicted.
On "That woman", which I believe you are referring to a certain offspring who's story arch shouldn't have made it out of series 4, to save us the horror of not having to think of how Moffat messed up canon by writing in some random bullshit to explain that woman's existence. I could have easily written a nicer explanation for her existence that would have been in a sane and proper Doctor Who style in nature without having to change/add to canon; and nicely so, it would have effectively rendered the Ponds unimportant and we could have kicked them off the show after series 5.

Amy, on the other hand, has always annoyed me for some reason. I think its the fact that she spends most of the time being a bloody useless liability, and then suddenly acts as though she's more bad-ass than everyone else.
That's one big aspect that makes her a horrible character.
I would add though that the other thing that probably annoys you about her, is that when you pay attention to screen time in a few episodes in series 5 and most episodes from series 6 on, Moffat has effectively made Amy, and in many cases Rory, the main characters of the show, and The Doctor was actually relegated to the side character position.
Instead of Doctor Who, most of Moffat's run of the show can basically be called, "Amy, Rory, and some crazy guy with a time-machine." With screen time comparison, Matt Smith technically should only get third billing when names are listed.
[HEADING=1]TOP 5[/HEADING] Veronica Mars (I'm incredibly pissed they didn't make season 4...) Firefly (We all know this story. We're all pissed.) Supernatural (Probably should've ended after Season 5, but still awesome as hell) The Venture Bros. (Perpetual awesomeness.) Top Gear (UK version)
(The rest Alphabetically to avoid having to choose an order)

Christ I can't believe how many replies I got so fast. Thank you all
I also can't believe how many great shows I missed listing and have spent the last 20 minutes kicking myself for not including them in the OP.
For those of you wondering I started watching Jericho yesterday (2 episodes in so far) after Marter's suggestion, but there's enough in this thread to keep me going for a good long time
I know for a fact there there were at least like 5-6 shows that were listed that I haven't seen that seemed really interesting when I was reading the replies so thanks again guys, and if you got any more keep em coming
