Kefka, I know I saw him as a bad villian in the other thread but I can't help love that level of crazy and fun.

I would have to go with Kefka as well. It was a kind of slap in the face surprise when he goes from incompetent comic relief would-be thug to genocidal maniac bent on being god of the world.

He isnt really a "video game villain" even though he was the final boss in Marvel Ultimate Alliance but the answer is Dr. Doom. Best villain ever hands down... even though he is a lame game boss fight.

Oh wow! I can't believe someone mentioned Dr. Doom before I could! But yeah, I agree, Dr. Doom is my choice for "best villan ever" too.

I think the OP of the original got it right. Kefka is hands down the greatest video game villain in my opinion. There is only one other fictional villain that I would put ahead of Kefka in general and that is the Joker from the Bat-Man comics. I give the nod to the Joker over all because he saturates multiple media (print, tv, movies, radio, video gamess) while Kefka really only had one, maybe two (video games, fan fiction). But just look at the parallel between the two: Both are being sadistic, nihilistic clowns
