She isnt worth it. Just remember that she ditched you. Why have feelings for someone who does that to you? Sorry to sound cruel, but whilst i face the possibility of my loved one dying though something not his fault within only a few years, your upset over a cow who didnt deserve you in the first place. Trust me, best thing to do, go out with friends, put her out of your mind, and look for someone better.Sion_Barzahd said:Alright, i'm aware that the escapist community doesn't want people whining about every problem they have over their forums but...
Well i've just been dumped by my girlfriend and she's announced that she is going on a date with some guy she's crazy about that she met in a club. (she dumped me at 2am last night, via text.)
So yeah i'm left feeling pretty shitty, and i aint looking for sympathy. But i ask you, escapees, what is the best method for getting over someone who you had such strong feelings for?
Talk to her best friend about what she did.Sion_Barzahd said:Alright, i'm aware that the escapist community doesn't want people whining about every problem they have over their forums but...

You don't sound cruel at all. Its good advice, and lots of people have mentioned it on here. Its also nice to have someone tell me these things, since i've long given up on my own thoughts. (i tend to double guess everything i think.)DemonicKitten said:She isnt worth it. Just remember that she ditched you. Why have feelings for someone who does that to you? Then sleep with said best friend.

Yeah i used to feel that way also. I find even though you do get some narrow minded people on here, you also get many who are willing to help when they can. I just put my own thread up about my (well, and my fiance's) problem so as to get some "advice" of sorts. I know noone can help me, but im hoping just as you were, that they have advice on how to cope with these problems. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.168756#4567443 as you will notice if you check it out (not advertising and you don't have to comment) there are some really nice Escapists on here and im grateful to them. Hence why i thought i might sound cruel. I didnt want to jump down your throat about it, i know what its like to be ditched by someone i thought i loved, but now that i've found this love, its so much harder to bare knowing its in danger through his heart condition.Sion_Barzahd said:You don't sound cruel at all. Also i'm sorry about your loved one, whatever it is that he has.
