To be honest I think proposing with her would be bad but if you were to do I say just fly to her and show her the ring then see where that takes you.

Dude sounds like (no offense) your a bit of a wanker. You break up with this chick, probably broke her heart too, and now what because you've seen the error of you're ways you expect her to stop her life and come back to you? Just stop and think. You've been out of her life for a month do you think she is going to want to marry you? Just drop her new life and marry the guy who dumped her? Good Luck.

Your an idiot, honestly. This is the stupidest thing ive ever read, if your not a troll then this is just dumb. ATTENTION GAMERS! HOW CAN I PROPOSE TO A GIRL I DUMPED A WHILE BACK WHO MOVED ON WITH HER LIFE?

if you can't see how stupid and hollywood cliche this is than you deserve the predictable embarrassment and heartbreak your about to feel.

well....im stumped, someone give me an idea.

oh yea, and we're an ocean apart atm....so that makes it even harder.
How could you possibly think this is a good idea? Seriously?

She's in a relationship. She's clearly moved on. More to the point, if, like you said, you are an ocean apart, why propose to her? She's with somebody else, and is nowhere near you; there's just no way this is going to end well for either of you. I think the fact that she's in a relationship is a sign that she's over you, so just don't bother.

Seriously, if you actually care about her, don't propose. All you'll do is screw up her life.

Do it at the other person's house and get it over with. Don't try to be romantic and do it in a public place with some goofy, over-the-top way like on a baseball field scoreboard or in the champagne at a fancy restaraunt. Just be straight up and to the point.

Okay this might SOUND dumb but I've had like 3 or 4 friend where the exboyfriend (and in one case girlfriend) came along and proposed and then said friend got dumpped for the ex.

Now, I had that happen to me as well. The girl said 'I'm so conflicted' and then she decided to stick with me. I dumped her shortly thereafter as I didn't need that kind of drama and the fact that it took her a day to decide was stupid.

Assuming by 'we' you mean 'women,' don't say that. It's unfair to class an entire gender based on the quality of memory of you and your friends. Some girls I know can't remember what they had for breakfast not two hours prior. Saying that, a lot of the time, neither can I.
Sultana Bran, I think. It's very nice.

Ooohkay, you decided to leave that little tidbit out. You know, this is looking worse and worse for you. If she's done that, the chances of her coming back to you are quite slim indeed. And the chances of her accepting your possible future proposal in the case she does are even more slim.

You know, you ask for help and yet decide to leave these kinds of little facts out, I'm also starting to feel you are exhibiting trollish behaviour or this is just some fantasy. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but your situation is just starting to sound quite impropable.

You do understand this sounds quite a lot like some foolish dozen for a dime romance novel plot...

EDIT: Oh, and this is something you need to get out of your head. There is no such thing as fair when it comes to emotionally hurting your significant other. Is it 'fair' to cheat on someone because they cheat on you? No. Is it fair to dump your girlfriend and break her heart and then expect her to take you back, just because she has done that to you before?

Hell no.

People always want what they can't have.

I know if somebody broke up with me then to propose a month later; I'd laugh in their face.

It sounds like you havent gotten over her yet. I suggest you got to Vegas; spend a weekend their w/ some friends and if you still feel like proposing, then go for it you shouldnt rush in to it.
