What can I say, I like to tinker (searching for legit exploits to break the game) and explore...and Morrowind has a shitload of both.
If you're going to complain about the combat (agility stat mostly) and the travel you haven't invested enough time and effort to do your research and work around those issues. Heck...if it bothers you so much, you can teleport to anywhere instant speed using the console.
