Wow, so many games to choose from.. Id have to say it goes as follows:

Tie For Best Game Ending:
There's no contest for the feeling when you finally do the deed to Gannon. One stab in the face with the master sword for all the crap he's done to you. Then finding out you go back in time to live life as you should have.. its just a great ending.

After one EPIC battle against not only a past ally, but a major heart wrenching story line... your faced with a godlike entity that is keeping you from returning to life. This is one of the most satisfying boss battles I've had in a long long time!

Tie For Best WTF Moments:
You Have Seven Days... Four Times with such an amazing story that I hope It never gets forgotten. Finding out who killed you, why he did.. the moment I found out what was going on.. I loved it!

Would You kindly not ruin this for everyone else, even with spoilers?

Worst Game Moment Ever:
Turning on the Game. Period.

Dreamfall. I remember just numbly searching the internet for "Dreamfall ending" trying to find some kind've explanation or reason. I only found people equally confused as I and coincidentally this:
http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=682

I have to say, the analysis stuck a chord, and I felt a lot better about it:
In particular this made me laugh.
"One review I read likened the game to The Empire Strikes back: A dark second instalment in a trilogy. I disagree, because I?m sure I would remember if in ESB the beloved Luke had become self-destructive and nihilistic, eventually alienated his friends, and finally allowed himself to be killed by a stormtrooper. I don?t recall the scene where the rebellion was crushed and it hinted that even their families were killed. Princess Leia didn?t fall into a coma and eventually die, and Han Solo wasn?t rounded up and sent to the imperial prison where he was left to rot. The Empire didn?t introduce their new & improved Death Star at the end, and people left the theatre talking about wether or not Darth Vader was Luke?s father, not if they thought Chewbacca could maybe have somehow survived that final raid on the rebel base."

Best Endings: Some of the Heavy Rain endings, Mass Effect
Worst Endings: Fallout 3 before Broken Steel (I'm sure there are others I can't remember)
Most Disturbing Endings: Heavy Rain has some of the most f'ed up endings, such as
When you fail to save your son and don't evade police arrest in a certain part, the game ends with Norman (FBI agent) dying of Triptocain overdose, Madison's (Journalist) insomnia gets so bad she can't tell real life from her dreams, and Ethen (The Dad of the son) hangs himself in a prison cell, serving for a crime he didn't commit.

Heavy Rain had some sad endings. I mean real downers that made me want to go my other save and look at the happier endings just so I could feel a little better. Imagine a child slowly slipping into the dark abyss that is death and his father lamenting his death. Real dreary stuff, man.
I got a different ending from that, but it left my jaw gaping for 10 seconds before I had to force my mouth closed. Here's what happened for me:

So Ethan has just saved his son, and I let Shelby walk away. Maddison never went to the warehouse because I was unable to find the location of it with her and Jayden never found the location either, despite me having the evidence needed to find it. So I was feeling all happy that Ethan had saved his son, and as he walks outside the warehouse, the cops are there, and that asshole Blake gives the order to open fire. Watching Ethan get shot after all he had been through to save his son, just fuck. I only finished it earlier so it's still very fresh in my mind.
Wow! I hated Blake before but now I down right despise the jerk.
Also what is up with those tanks and Jayden? Does anybody know what was that about?
I never got that ending for Jayden so I haven't seen it yet, but from what I've read I think it has something to do with him overusing the ARI too much or something. The unfairness of what happened to Ethan in my ending is still bugging me as well. That's probably the only problem I have with the game, that I won't be able to experience it like that for a second time.

STALKER takes the cake.
I had so much money I didn't even bother to get more. I could have bought everything i wanted to and you know what ending i got? The guy wished for more money and died. WTF? Seriously, wtf?
I had all the money i needed and the game tells me all i have done was pointless.

Killer 7...

What...the...fuck?...
I positively loved Killer 7's conclusion.
Very depressing. As well as my nomination for best.

[HEADING=2]Worst:[/HEADING]
Fallout 3.
Biggest slap to the face ever.

[sub]Thank the gods for the Broken Steel DLC, amirite?[/sub]

[HEADING=2]Most disturbing:[/HEADING]
The first half of the ending to Final Fantasy VIII, during the time compression.
Why is that disturbing, you ask?

Good night.

I found the greed ending to S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl to fit with the mood and desperation of the game quite well. And, although I personally enjoy Borderlands, the end left both my brother and I quite disappointed- but we still play it.

I really like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series overall, but the Call of Pripyat ending for me was rather tame... I hesitate to say it, but I'd like to see something a bit more epic in the game. Not too over the top, and definitely not something to get over- used, but maybe a really BIG pseudogiant or other mutant, something really terrifying and inhuman, like a creature based on Stephen Kings' description of the Long Boy from Lisey's Story?

I don't understand why so many people hated the Borderlands ending. I thought it was a good conclusion. It answered all of the basic plot mysteries with one giant boss fight.

As for worst ending: Bionic Commando (the new one, not the original). His bionic arm is powered by his wife? WTF?!

Best ending: Mass Effect 2. Since I was aware that my choices could result in the death of Shepard or my party members, it made the cutscenes truly intense. I would sit there riveted, going "COME ON, MAKE IT!"

My vote for worst ending goes to Super Mario Bros. The first one.
"Congratulations, Mario! You did it! Now DO IT AGAIN."

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. Not a BAD ending, but I've never played a game that left me with such a profound sense of 'Oops...'

For those that don't know, at the end you unwittingly neutralize all the Spirit Stones (a common resource) in the world, which effectively power all magic and technology.

Most disturbing:

F.E.A.R. 2, by far:

You get raped by a 14 year old dead girl and get her up the pole.... yeah
I never actually got to the ending when I played that game. Was this ending scary? I find it hard to imagine it, tbh.

Worst ending: *sigh* Neverwinter Nights 2.
"Rocks fall. Everyone dies". A famous RP gag for real.

Best ending: I'd say Max Payne 2 on the highest difficulty.

Mass Effect 2's ending was certainly the most "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck" inducing ending ever.
Yeah... you go from "HOLY SHIT! I'M NOT DEAD! EAT THAT COLLECTOR MAGGOTS!" to "Oh my... I'm really screwed...." In about two seconds. Sure, ME3 will be EPIC, but how the hell is anyone supposed to survive what they show in the final images?!?!?!?

OT: I'd have to say the best ending for me was Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. It wasn't the most happy ending ever, but I've never been moved so much by a game.

The worst ending award for me would be a tie between Borderlands and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While everybody knows why Borderlands sucked, MW2 just didn't make any sense. The big baddie never satisfactorily explains why he tried to blow up the world. Even so, when it looks like you are about to bleed to death, I was thinking "Wow. Poetic. Everybody dies. Nobody knows the truth. Pretty deep for Call of Duty." Then Price pulls a one-up out of his ass and proceeds to magically get better. Then you do to. Then your Russian buddy finds you in the middle of no-where. It just screamed "Sequel time! Get your wallets ready!"

And for most disturbing I'd have to go with anything involving STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. None of the Wish-granter endings were good, and the other ending was confusing and disturbing in and of itself. Did you do the right thing? Did the Zone really die?

Best Ending - Non DLC Fallout 3. It was just so damn fitting.
Worst Ending - FEAR 2. Ok this is a mixture of WTF and terrible. Not only was is a total *my brain asplode* it was also a shameless set up for a sequel.
Most Disturbing Ending - Earthbound. Well the ending battle really. Seriously Giygas will always remain one of my favorite bosses of all time. Also anything Silent Hill.

Worst ending: Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Don't get me wrong,it's one of the best games according to me. But the ending...Ughh...

Everything goes from being desert to green forest everywhere! The General says some fun things though.
Best ending: Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4. It's a tie though. The third is more on the sad part of the emotinal spectrum and the fourth is more on the happy part. Well, parts of it,like the wedding.

Disturbing: The American "ending" in Call of Duty 4. I know that it isn't really a ending but it is the only disturbing thing I can think of.

Best endings:
God of War : After an epic battle, you kill and become the God of War.
Dragon Age : Morrigans a ***** >.<
Command and Conquer : getting to blast the White House with the ion cannon when I was 10... mmmmm

Worst ending
still pulling a blank on this one... but I know there is one out there somewhere.

Disturbing ending
Manhunt that guy who thinks he's a pig with a chainsaw o_O was rather odd. Not the real ending but its very close to it.
