Bigger DLC? So we're talking Shivering Isles style? Awesome. People always bang on about horse armour (with good reason), but that was one of the more awesome pieces of DLC for anything, ever. It'll be grand to have something like that, even if they did do an annoying temporary-exclusive deal.

By the time I'm finished with Dark Souls, Batman, Assassin's Creed etc, hopefully most of the teething problems will have been resolved. Patience FTW

Oh yay! I can't wait for the countless "new player houses!" dlc that will come out! I just really hope they learned from their mistake last time... Shivering Isles was great Bethesda, give us DLC like that and you'll be golden, just please... PLEASE if you decide to release Horse Armor or other bullshit like that, just keep it free, if nothing else it'll win you back some public approval after the Mojang incident.

DLC Ideas:

1. Atmora
2. Solstheim
3. Akavari
4. See 2 but Skaal or Tribal Nords
5. Hammerfell Redgaurds vs Nords (Oh I smell racism!)

Good news everyone!

What's wrong with a day 1 patch? With the amount of time it takes to burn the number of DVDs and blu-ray discs for every copy of the game, package them, send them to a distributor, and then get them shipped to the individual stores by release day, it stands to reason what was in about three weeks ago is what is on the disk. I would call it a good thing that the quality control process didn't stop there.

Particularly given the track record of the stability of the Fallout installments they have released.

Battlehorn Castle was nice, although it didn't have teleport pads, portals to every city and an underground vault guarded by imps.

Well I no longer have my network adapter for my Xbox, so I don't think I'll be grabbing Skyrim afterall. Why should I get a buggy game just because I'm not online?

I've pre-ordered it all ready. As for DLC if it's more like Shivering Isles or Bloodmoon for Morrowind then I probably will get it. Likely won't though.

I'm picking it up Thursday night anyhow.
It's Friday morning!

11.59 =Thursday night
12.00 =Friday Morning

Unless your copy is being released early it will not be sold before 12am.

The day one patch will still affect you.

Is the patch a bad things; not really shows that there's been some effort to fix the bugs before the game comes out(The version that ships is probably a few weeks seeing as it takes around that to ship it out in time for a release day).

I hope its not to buggy, my 360 isnt hooked up to the internet so patching takes loads of time and effort.
Still from what I have heard its a lot less buggy than MW and Ob and my non patched 360 copy of Fallout 3 is fine so im not too worried.

Day one patches are not an issue at all, of course they will find bugs after they ship the game, actually, I cannot remember a single game I have owned for xbox/ps3 that I haven't had to patch right when I got it

Well... not the shoot fireballs out from the butthole part... that sounds rather painfull.. hilarious, but painfull...

But it DID have an extra quest as a shout-out to Legacy of Kain!
