Bethesda: Why 90% of the community is misinformed

Myth: Bethesda's pumping out too many games lately. They are all going to be awful.
Fact: Bethesda (BGS)didn't make NV, and isn't making Hunted, Rage, or Brink.

Capcom did not make the new Bionic Commando, but they got the blame for its existence.

Furthermore, Rare was the maker of all those terrible movie tie in the late 80s and early 90s, like Dick Tracy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Back to the Future. Who gets the blame for their existence? That's right LJN.

Who makes the games really does not matter. Bethesda put up the money for the game, Bethesda is marketing and promoting the game, and Bethesda is going to eat up the lion's share of the profits. This is no different than the other big dogs in the video game market today. If a game produced by either EA, Square Enix, or Activision was terrible, they would get the blame for it and deservedly so.

Reverse it: If the games were actually good, would you be complaining about how Bethesda was not the one making the game?
