The bible is a pretty messed up book to be honest, it's just that the religious types don't seem to realise how messed up it really is.

On the whole violence thing, one of the most overlooked things violence-wise in the bible is that god ordered the genocide of an entire tribe, amalaek (not sure if that's how its spelled, but its definitely how its pronounced). Where I live (actually, where I have lived: three seperate states: midwest, northeast, and deep south) all had a comic every sunday with fully colored and illustrated depictions of around three to six bible verses.

I am a christian and I go to a christian private school go to church and that wonderful stuff. And I don't know what to make of this. I'm not sure weather to laugh or be offended. Yah I'm just going to laugh. But from what I have heard about it seems that alot of people are interested in it. I know I am. What ever spreads the word of the lord.
Of coarse then then people will realize how messed up some of the stuff in the old testament is.
