Look, Evil, can I call you that?

Why must you always be right? Hmmm?
Is it an unflinching loyalty to the gods of logic, or just your own uber-powers?
In fact, you are right so often, I am indeed concerned that you may be behind not one, but all of the new threads started in these forums, hmm?

Yours sincerely,
A concerned citizen.

P.S. when will they turn off the suppression fields?
Dear Concerned Citizen,

The Suppression Fields are there for your own safety. As to answer your other questions, [DELETED FOR SECURITY REASONS] with a boiled egg in the morning.

I hope this makes you feel that little bit safer.

It's the nature of the art, isn't it? Video games often have comic book-like concept art, and in general, the finished 3d characters follow many of the conventions of such art, namely, exaggeration. Comic art is the simplification of a lot of complex detailing, so that you end up with large noses, mustaches, hair, breasts, shoulders, arms, etc just so your reader has some way to differentiate a lot of characters that lack many of the defining characteristics that makes you look so different from your neighbor.

If your every day concept artist drew someone who actually looked like a real woman instead of what they saw in a porno mag, then it'd probably get made that way. Unless the character model artists screwed with it. What I wonder is whether the presence of so many stacked female video game characters is an indicator of lack of women holding concept and 3d artist jobs, or if it's simply that everyone is drawing to this preconceived standard, even the women.

A suppression field might do us a bit of good. As a male I would be able to shed the sexual barriers which prohibit me feeling differently select women and start building meaningful relationships with girls we like for their character. Think of all the time and energy we could redirect to productive things we spend scavenging for "it" with "them". All men could ascend to the eighth level a consciousness by now.

From what I can tell the supression shield does not stop sex, It just prevents the joining of chromosomes.

Dearest TROAE,
I do hope we can continue our 'personal' correspondance, no-one has shown me so much before in such short a time. I do wish that the fields were off, for I am almost 16, and have not yet concieved a child.
Your words do sooth me, and make me feel that little bit safer.
And your cooking advice is second to none, I would not have survived the day without that recipe, as it was the best recipe ever created in the history of the world, in fact, it was a recipe worthy of The Awesome One.

Yours concernedly,
a sincere citizen

(p.s. It's only me again! It's just concerned.)
(p.s.s. God forbid you discover my true identity, which is cleverly disguised by a thin veil of glass on your screen.)

Aww...come on Nilcypher. You've banned a thousand times better threads then this. Why torment us now?
Because you must learn!
She has learned, she has learned that her breasts aren't big enough to be an issue... And we don't usually play games that have this problem anyway...
Lemme guess, Co-Op sex?

I'm more afraid for the character's back.

I mean, behind those huge things, they must have SOME kind of super power to stand straight. Am I right?

Women typically have one of two views on big breasts:
1. I want them. I want big breasts, just like I want a teenie waist and males all over me!
2. I'm glad I don't have them, or I wish I didn't have them. They cause shoulder and back problems, precipitate offhand sexual remarks, and make the owner a target for sexual predators. Half the people I know with cup sizes appropriate for video games have had to have had to have breast reductions, or are seriously considering it for medical reasons.

Unless presentation is a part of your livlihood, big breasts are typically a negative.
Also, unless they're fake or they have macromastomy, fit women, especially the body type presented in Video games, are not going to have big breasts.

One of my least favorite aspects of video games is that they so often perpetuate the ugly male/beautiful female steriotype.
That's another reason Princess Zelda is my hero.

I don't know, I like Orihime from Bleach and she's a gentle soul... who turns me on, to be honest. But, I don't think massive breasts reduce a character unless you judge people by appearance, really.
Most of the time, women with massive breasts just turns me away from the character, but Orihime is very well done. I say that the breasts add a contrast from the innocence of her character... perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

Breasts are the epitome of female sexuality in the same way that the Penis is the epitome of male sexuality.

(Gonads don't count and neither does the Vagina because they can alter size depending on the body's reaction)

Minimizing either damages the ego, which is why Vasectomies or Masectomies are so universally feared.

As is usual in fear cases, this leads to a reducto ad absurdum argument, where massive size is regarded as desirable. This fear is perpetuated by the media in advertisment along with bicep size (triceps do most of the work), waist size (women are meant to have an extra layer of fat there to protect their internal organs) and foot size (the two sizes are NOT related).

The problem stems from the fact that adolescents do not have a normal hormonal cycle and their animal needs cannot be sated within the modern world easily, so that advertisements that pray on this fear/desire trait will automatically be snapped up.

The most telling thing from this is that neither the male or the female epitome has ANY effect on the ability to bring a child up or create a child in the first place.
Science to the rescue!

I do agree though, I think that adding a huge chest to a female character will destroy all their credibility. thats another of the reasons that I like Nariko - her body is functional, and not erotic.
She still lacks clothes.
