Virtually every game here meets the criteria for disappointment - but one that really disappointed me was Condemned 2: Bloodshot. It was the most remarkable departure from an original in recent memory, and had the stupidest plot changes since the nuked fridge/CGI monkeys invasion. I want to be using a piece of rebar to crack a junkie's jawbone, not using sonic abilities against a death cult!
Speaking of Sonic, you can't tell me anyone expected anything else out of it unless they still think they need to clap or Tinkerbell dies. If only not clapping could have killed off Navi.
Runners up to Condemned 2, I'm gonna go with GTA IV for continuing the addition of Sims-style realism (as the girlfriend mini-games of San Andreas started) to the detriment of amoral mayhem and Mirror's Edge for botching an opportunity to do the right thing.

Too Human! Fourteen years in the works, and it had nothing to stand on. Story, graphics, game-play, soundtrack - all to present nothing new
After Daikatana, I think there should really be a time limit set on game developments - there's a certain point after which nothing you make will be good, hence why Duke Nukem Forever is dead to me.
