I was playing Halo 3 when my entire team lagged out except for me, to make matters worse the entire other team teabagged me when they killed me, and since I wasn't very good I could do absolutely nothing to stop them just thinking about it still infuriates me to this day.

45 hours. PS3 died. My save was not recoverable.
So I made a second playthrough which is now at 60 hours.

In Red Dead Redemption I was working on the Bearly Legal achievement (kill and skin 18 grizzly bears) I had 16 skins and had just kill number 17 when...the game froze. I hadn't saved in a while. So I VERY reluctantly restarted my X-box I did it all over again... and made sure to save after every 2 kills!

When I discovered that on Mile High Club in CoD4 you can't shoot the hostage-taker in the legs when you're playing on Veteran. I swear, it took enough attempts to get to him and then I fail because I didn't know you had to get a headshot D:

Playing the last part of the main quest line in Oblivion he ended up getting the game to autosave right as Martin dies and he failed the quest, forcing him to reload his last manual save from several hours earlier.

I was transferring a gallium alloy into an inert atmosphere, pumped down the load lock but then realized i forgot the pipettes... plopped the pipettes into the load lock, the immediately transferred without pumping it down again

Playing Red Dead Redemption.

Just knifed a bear to death and was waiting for it to stop ragdolling so I could carve it when I got blindsided by another bear.

Skinning a bear should aggro every bears
in a 40 yard radius. It makes sense, you are actually skinning their best friend.

Playing N online and almost making it to the door on the last stage of a really hard level. Then a new banner ad pops up, causes a lag, and i get shot by a sniping thingy.

This may sound weird but my biggest "FFUU" moment was in Mine Craft. I had just built my fortress up and had a bunch of swords and bows and arrows and intended to go hunt some Creepers to make a bunch of TNT. So I decide to take it easy by going to "easy" mode and the within the first minute of exploring, I get surrounded by 3 skeleton archers, 4 creepers, 2 spiders, and a zombie. I lost all of my stuff and got sent back to my respwan point and figure that I would just go and retrieve my things again but they were gone. So, angrily, I went back to my house and got killed again by 2 creepers who were in my base due to the door being opened. Later found out that I was on top of 2 monster spawners which explains where all those enemies came from. To say the least, I was pissed.

I haven't experienced this but my friend has done the whole legendary reach campaign solo and it never gave him anything not a save not an achievement nothing.
