Medal of Honor Airbourne, Call of Duty 3, Warhawk, and GTA3 were all pretty pathetic.
Warhawk on the PS3?!
I feel as though I must smite you right now!!

Seriously though... that might be one of my most favorite games of all time. How could you not have liked it?

Final Fantasy X (Something just did not click like the others had before it
I've always called it "Final Fantasy: Sailor Moon". I have yet to finish it, especially since I don't think I'm getting the 100% ending. And when did FF games have multiple endings? Especially ones that depended on a completion percentage? Fuck you Square! (Not yet SquareEnix at the time).
are you talking about final fantasy x or final fantasy x-2? final fantasy x-2 was such an embarrassment. i got about halfway through before i couldnt take it anymore
Yes, I was in a hurry and read quickly. I loved FFX but FFX-2 left a bad taste in my mouth.

Spore. I spent 3 years of my life eagerly following every... Single... fucking... development site of that crap ass game.

It was the biggest disappointment when I played it. It almost reduced me to tears. I hated everything about it. (Apart from the cell stage, because whats not to like?)

Everything after the cell stage. Massive disappointment. No fish stage? A cell just gets legs and goes on land?
Creature stage? Oh okay, bones on the ground. Premade creatures? Oh, erm. Right. Oh, I've won creature stage inside 20 minutes? Okay then.
Tribe stage? I CANT CUSTOMIZE MY CREATURE ANYMORE? Well, okay i'll soldier on. I can't design anything on this stage? I can only put 1 piece of armor on my creatures? Okay, well that's cool. Oh, I'm fighting myself, and another premade creature... I've won? Well, that was a good 7 minutes.
Okay, City stage. Well, this is kinda live civ. Only, a lot less padded ou- Oh, i've won that?
Space stage? Okay, now maybe this won't disappoint me. I can't come back to my creatures? Erm okay, I guess I'll just colonize planets. Oh, so the cities I make are just... Pretty looking buttons? Fine then.
5000000 planets later. I finally expanded my hollow empire to the center of the galaxy. To find the mystery behind this game. Oh, it's a short cut scene involving a cartoon robot giving me the power to do something I could to in under 60 seconds anyway? FUCK YOU SPORE /uninstall

Legend of Spyro: The Eternal-
Fuck it, I'm sick of talking about that game.

Gotta say Super Mario 64. It may be the first 3D platformer ever, but the age shows. Too much.
Also, I burned through most of Pilotwings Resort (including the secret tough missions) in about 2 weeks, except for ONE FUCKING GOLD RING. A whole season later, I still have no idea where to find it.
Not sure whether that's disappointment, but I really wanted to say that.

Wow. That is just horrible. Sorry you wasted your precious man-hours on a Zelda CD-i worthy cutscene with no point.

I was very interested to see a lot of repeat titles as well as some really popular titles I hadn't thought people would be so upset about. It's been really cool to see some insight into this, and see what really ticks people off about games. Other titles that were mentioned here that I could agree with:

Spore - Really enjoyed it until the tribal stage, and then it became more and more ridiculous and less and less enjoyable.

Fable 2 - Tried SO HARD to get into it and just couldn't. Spent more time faffing about cheating on my husband and buying people out of their houses than I did becoming the hero of Albion.

Oblivion - Apparently I don't like sand box or open exploration games like that. Lost track of what I was supposed to be doing and said "forget this." The story could not keep me engaged and I always felt that whatever I was off doing that wasn't related to the mission goal was too hard for me to succeed at. Tried it twice and never touched it again.

Final Fantasy X-2 - Disgustingly offensive to females. Yuna turned into Rikku clone and they threw in the vaguely lesbian goth chick for what purpose? She was never introduced, they didn't explain how she was there... she just was.

and lastly...

Dragon Age 2 - ... Such a train wreck after the fantastic awesomeness that was Origins. The Darkspawn became putty creatures that wouldn't have frightened me as a four year old (and I was afraid of almost EVERYTHING as a four year old, the Elves became bug-eyed bobble-heads that DID scare me (and Elves were my favorite to play in Origins, so it felt like a slap to the face).. and I was just plain offended with the changes in Isabela and Merrill. How did Isabela go from a ginger to a cocoa goddess? Blah, I could complain all day... and I'm more terrified than excited about DA3.

For a long while it was Star Wars: KOTOR 2. There was SO MUCH CUT CONTENT. Just the single fact that there wasn't the HK factory in the original release is enough of a disappointment, considering you would have been able to have HK make his own assassin droid army. Thankfully, a team of modders managed to restore most of the cut content and fix a bunch of the glitches in the PC version, but still....

LotR: Conquest as mentioned previously was disappointing. Dawn of War: Soulstorm for the extreme load times, numerous bugs, and terrible script (METAL BAWKSES!). Spore for reasons already outlined; I hated Space, favorite was the Creature. Can anyone explain what exactly happened to Spore that made it so cut down and short?

And Nintendo deciding to take out Mewtwo for SSBB ABSOLUTELY PISSED ME OFF.

And Dragon Age for some reason. The original. Granted, I was stuck playing on my friend's computer, but I played through ME2 and Prototype without any gripes on that. It just felt too long and pointless, so I quit after the mage tower business I think. None of the characters really connected to me, and the setting seemed rather bland and cliche.

GTA IV. i liked it, i 100%'d it and TLAD, but the gameplay just became too realistic and serious, forgetting that San Andreas was great because it was still somewhat silly and fun. What should have filled my need for Next Gen San Andreas just ended up disappointing me, until I found Saint's Row, which gladly filled my hole.
