Beyond Good and Evil. Absolutely amazing game in almost every respect. But that shit ended so abruptly, and no sequel was made :(

All in all it ended up to be about 3-4 hours of gameplay, just a glorified demo

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi
I was something of a fan of Dragonball, and thought Budokai 1, 2, and 3 rocked. So when it was announced we'd get a fully three dimensional battlefield, I was like "awesome!"

Turned out we got a pile of shit with the laziest story mode ever made.

The biggest would have to be a tie between Driver 3 and Batman Forever. Both times I rented the game and returned it after only a few hours.

The biggest disapointment I've seen in gaming so far has to be Fable. The game previews in every game mag and web site I checked out made that game out to be the RPG to end all RPG's. The game I played on the PC turned out to be no where near that good. The graphics looked passable but not that great. The shadows jumped around and flickered to such a degree that it was distracting even when there was no fire around to give an excuse for jumpy shadows. The first part of the game was dull as dishwater with nothing interesting to do. By the time the village finally got attacked and the action ramped up a little bit, I had almost lost interest in the game. My character was woefully inadequate to meet any real challenges once they finally came along despite spending a lot of time trying to develop him. The much vaunted A.I. of the NPC's didn't seem all that smart or lifelike to me. I've seen better A.I. in the older Deus Ex game. I rented the Xbox version when it came out hoping problems were fixed but alas they weren't. Not even the crappy shadow problem. I hear there is a new Fable game coming out. I might rent it for Xbox 360, but won't buy it when it comes out first.

I'd have to agree that Batman Forever was bad. But then, almost all Batman games stink for some strange reason. The only decent Batman games I've played was Rise of Sin Tzu for Xbox and Gameboy Advance. Even those games were rather limited as to what Batman could do but at least what they did let you do was well programmed and the games were actually fun to play. I also kinda sorta but not really liked Justice League Heroes although that technically wasn't a Batman game since he was just one of many heroes to play.

Lair and Haze were big letdowns for me as a PS3 gamer. They not as terrible as some have said, but no where nears as good as they could have been.

Final Fantasy VIII, almost all of it.

A mountain of suck. Almost no redeeming value whatsoever. This coming from someone who likes the series. (Well, the main line. Let's ignore FFX-2 and all the FF7 spinoffs.)

Mass Effect was way too short and didn't have enough dialogue! (I'm not kidding) But other than that, it's one of the "best games EVAARRR" or whatever you'd like to call it.

But Dark Messiah M&M ended quite boringly, I want to know more!

Deus Ex 2: pretty much everything that made the orignal so outstanding had been surgically stripped from the sequel.

Black & White 2: if I want to be a town planner I'll play a Maxis game thank you, and the creature AI ..... wow, the bile still rises in my throat.

The ending of Halo 3, and really the campaign in general. I mean, I liked some of the parts (scarab battles, the part where you're in a tank convoy), but it was just too damn short, and I was expecting some sort of epic final battle on Earth (damn you misleading ad campaigns!).
Yes yes yes. I was expecting a lot more.

Anyone who knows me knows that I fucking hated Assassin's Creed and that I was severly pissed off with that shitty Sonic game for the 360.

Pretty much the whole of Clive Barker's Jericho. Thought it'd be good fun from hearing about it, but upon playing for the first 5 minutes, just became instantly disappointed. Fortunately it was rented.

I've said this before... but,
The developers of my FAVOURITE Anime thought it would be a hilarious joke to release a Video Game for said Anime, but, and here's where it gets awesome, only release it in Japan, and only make it for the PS3. I didn't own a PS3 when I ordered it 2.5 weeks ago, I do now, and it still hasn't shown up.

God I love Japan.

Fable - After all the hype I've heard, and then actually playing it.... So... average.

The Halo series - See "Fable", except take away any depth in the story, but add a crappy multiplayer that's rampant with 10 year olds.

Fable let me down too.

Also, Worms: World Party was a sad following to Worms Armeggedon.
