It wasn't the worst game I ever played, but it's in the top ten. And I always hear people complain that Halo is overrated.
*snickers* this is too funny, I could go on about how wrong all that sounds but right now Imma go to bed, so I'll do it tomorrow and I was saying 'because it is" to Halo (in case u dont know)archvile93 said:1. 2. Basic infantry have more health than I do (An entire clip of anti-personell rounds takes a quarter of a splicer's health)
3. Hit detection is horrendously inconsitant
4. Ammo is non-existent in Rapture, it can't even really be called an FPS since the wrench is the only weapon you can use reliably (I think System Shock 2 had this same problem)
5. Big Daddies are supposed to be intimidating, but it's hard to fear something that you have no reason to fight since it results in wasting useful resources to obtain ADAM which is useless.
6. Setting was amazing, but there is no excuse in the world for bad gameplay
In conclusion: should've been a movie
Do you also want me to tell you how I managed to beat an elite bouncer to death with a wrench because I quite literally had no ammo for any weapon?
At least Halo was fun. And tell how wrong I am to the elite bouncer.Quiet Stranger said:*snickers* this is too funny, I could go on about how wrong all that sounds but right now Imma go to bed, so I'll do it tomorrow and I was saying 'because it is" to Halo (in case u dont know)archvile93 said:1. A few things (all coming from bioshock 2, because I haven't played the first).archvile93 said:1. Really? Whenever I engulf an enemy in flames they seem perfetly capable of ignoring it and still shoot me. You'd think being on fire would be distracting. And yes electocuting them does stun them. Now if only I could stun them all instead of just one while his eleven companions continue to shoot me. Also, how are medkits helpful when I go from full health to zero health in .0357 seconds? Yes, I timed it.Mechanix said:A few things (all coming from bioshock 2, because I haven't played the first).archvile93 said:1. There's plenty of ammo, you just need to learn to constantly switch guns.
The game is designed so that when you get low you use a first aid kit. If you never use one, then yes, you will die every 2 seconds.
Every plasmid is useful if you use it correctly. They stun your enemies and everything.
It is a unique game that some people just are not going to like.
Well in Bioshock 2 the fire makes them run around screaming for a few seconds. And maybe you could move a little bit to avoid being shot? There is no reason for you to go down that fast unless you are right in front of a splicer or big daddy.archvile93 said:Really? True, im not saying i dident have fun, i was just letdown, and i did cry when my dog died. i dident care about the kids to tell the truth, right when i got the shot, he said half a word and i blasted him in the faceholeIrridium said:Ah, I see.Brad Shepard said:I got the game BEFORE i joined this site and knew how much of a blowhard he was... and the DLC... i almost felt as bad as wehn i bought the jedi tempel DLC for Forced unleashed, which is another letdown.Irridium said:FEAR 2.
I expected to be scared like in the first game.
*sigh*
What else do you expect from a game hyped by Peter Moleneux?Brad Shepard said:I was really let down by Fable 2, for the fact we where promised all this amazing stuff and we got a bland rpg with a bland story.
Well now you know.
Trust me, under the overhyped game, is a pretty fun experience. Keep this in mind for Fable 3.
