the wacky best friend/sidekick. How come the sidekick can never be a smooth and sauve guy (without being a douchebag)?

Anything with Steven Seagal, they're all the fucking same

-Terrorists have kidnapped Seagals daughter
-But heres the kicker, they also want to blow up Washington/New York/America/The World
-Seagal is an Ex-Navy Seal
-Seagal has a 'sassy' black/asian partner who has good technical skills and often servers the comic relief
-Seagal is pretty much invincible
-Seagal fights his way through a billion henchmen without getting a scratch on himself
-Seagal NEVER shows emotion, even when the Head Honcho Terrorist has a gun to his daughters head
-Seagal will force out as many one-liners as possible about he is going to fuck everyones shit up
-The Head Honcho terrorist is a dick with no real motiviation other than money
-The Head Honcho's assistant is a tech-nerd who deals with the computers and bombs 'n shit
-All the henchmen are clumsy shitheads who may as well be firing blanks
-In this world, Seagals character is always feared among terrorists as a guy who just kicks too much ass
-90% of the time, the final battle with the head honcho will end in a rather one-sided fist fight against Seagal
-The film will always end with the president and his advisors cheering about how Seagal kicked all the terrorists in the ass and defused all the bombs and saved the day, may also end with the president saying something like "son, you did good", perhaps followed by a sneaky salute

I want to see a movie where evil triumphs.
Yes. No sequels either, just the good guys dead and the bad guys getting whatever they wanted and everyone else being totally miserable.
Didn't the Watchmen have an ending like that? Because you know the bad guy's plans didn't get stopped.
I dunno, I didn't see it.

It had bad reviews so I didn't go, plus I have no friends.
Actually it had mixed reviews, half the people who saw it liked it and the other half hated it.
I'm part of the camp of people who liked it.

Before I forget though the director Zack Snyder has made three other films before that and every single one of them had the same reaction. Half liked it, half didn't.

Funny huh?

Deux Ex Machinima. Please for goodness sake stop making movies were humanity is brought to the brink of destruction and suddenly wins at the last minute.
War of the worlds I think.

What about anytime a girl is alone in a house?

man meets woman and they hate each other so it's a HUGE surprise when they get together at the end

I have another cliche, pretty rich girl, you know daddy's little angel falls in love with some boyishly handsome tough rebel. Naturally the rich oppose such things and what follows add nauseum.

Honestly howe about a reverse situation where it's a rich BOY going after a rebel GIRL?

Also I'm sick of stories about cute lovable animals and their relationships with people, I want to see a movie about a boy and his Komodo Dragon or his crocodile.

Timmy and the Komodo Dragon, I'll do a pitch for that! I just need to know what Komodo Dragons feed on. If it isn't willing to eat a puppy we'll have to use a Raptor.

Angsty, Silent characters, that don't usually talk and weep about all the time, such as that kid from Horton hears a Who, or Naruto, and end up being super important

Uptight white cop and sassy, street-smart black cop (played by Eddie Murphy) investigate the kidnap of the president's daughter by a tall blonde man with a funny accent and his terrorist pals who also want to blow up a large building in New York. White cop and black cop get thrown of the case but save the day seconds before the bomb explodes.

I'd say one liners.
In actions movies.
Delivered by Bruce willis.
IT'S JUST BEEN REVOKED!

But back on topic, I'd have to say...

Movies where a guy and girl just started dating, everything is great. They go to a party or something. Guy's ex-girlfriend shows up, realizing it was a mistake to break up, and moves into kiss him. Guy's current girlfriend comes around the corner just in time to see the two kissing and storms off. Guy is sad panda and sulks for a little while. At the end of the movie, they somehow end up back together.

Here's lookin' at you, (alot of freakin' movies).

The "good guys" never lose.

So far, there's one movie I remember the "good guys" losing and that was mostly a horror-comedy trying to do the opposite of most movie clichés.

The girl does something very bad to the guy.She tries to apologises but he doesn't want to hear it that second. She gets mad and he spends the rest of the movie to get her forgiveness.
