^this /Thread.
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this topic.
Lol, claimed the thread in the first reply, thats gotta be some sort of record. Where's my badge for that (looks around). They don't make one? I'll just have to settle for smug satisfaction then.

According to most of the people that commented on this thread (including me), the best film EVAR!!!1 would go something like:
.Hero meets girl
.Hero ignores girl and goes to stop bad guy
.Bad guy captures him and shoots him in the face
.Bad rules over all

Maybe we could squeeze the bad guy having komodo dragons...with lasers on their heads into the film somewhere.
sounds like a winner to me

Aside from the original Star Wars film and Austin Powers 2 (where it was actually used in a funny context), any repetition of "Luke... I am your father".
Includes I am your brother, I am your uncle, I am your second cousin twice removed etc.

I want to see a movie where evil triumphs.
Yes. No sequels either, just the good guys dead and the bad guys getting whatever they wanted and everyone else being totally miserable.
Time Bandits. The Cube. HyperCube. Diary of the Dead. A Zed and Two Noughts. Fear and Loathing in Las Vega. Psycho. The Shining. Nightmare on Elm Street. Friday the Thirteenth...
Lots if you look hard.
I've seen most of them. Zombies as bad guys is not really what I'm after.

Something like Sauron or Vader or someone winning, you know?

Beeping machines. You know what I mean, it's rampant throughout Hollywood. TV shows and movies of any genre, whenever a computer or digital device of sóme kind pops up, you hear all kinds of beeeeeps and whatever kind of retarted sounds. Enlarging camara footage in CSI, typing in some kind of code (the thing doesn't even have a bloody speaker sometimes!!!), entering coördinates in Star Trek or even a regular cellphone you knów doesn't make that noise. I mean dámn, if computers made all those shit noises in real life, those poor sods at say CSI must've gone completely bonkers by now. I know my cellphone wouldn't survived for long if it kept bleeping and blooping.

The use of 'Tension music' in Hollywood horror movies. Why do they do it?! It completely overrides any suspense in a scene because you already know something's going to happen!
