Try watching this clip of Bill replying to John.

Bill defending FOX news [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvsEuQYwFSg]

I find it funny that he's replying to a satyrical comedy programme like John is an actual journalist. Its like me treating Hugh Laurie as a medical doctor because hes in House. He also states that 45% of Johns viewers are liberal.

Surely this makes the majority of his viewers, 55% infact, none liberals...

Bill claimed he was quoted out of context calling protesters loons, when he played it back it was still Bill calling Leftie protesters loons, I missed the point.

So do you agree with Bill? Do you think John has some responsability to report the news as a real news man? Do you think its coincidence that bill posted this during the Daily show 3 week vacation so that John can't respond? Would he respond?

I'd quite like to see FOX do more of these counter points.

Jon Stewart and The Daily Show makes me believe that all American journalists in main channel stations are idiots. I think that Stewart paints american news broadcasting TV rather well....And for a guy who's main job is to make jokes he really knows how to make great arguments and discussions with some of his guests even when his guest has a total different view of Stewart. I remenber the (think it was) Huckabee and abortion or gay marriege. It was civil and an inteligent discussion.

But the guy trying to defend himself of saying that Stewart took the "The protesters are simply loons" out of context does really look bad, cause if he was a true professional he WOULD NEVER SAY THAT!

Isn't the clip he shows different than the one John shows? His is at night and Johns is in the day? Johns shows them being pushed up and his shows them being pushed right?

I love the idiotic smirk Billy Boy puts on everytime he thinks he's making a valid point.

The Daily Show is a comedy show that pokes fun at politics, yet I find it much more trustworthy than Fox News, from what I've seen. plus jon just has an adorable face

Bill O is just an angry man, a sad, angry man, struggling to keep his ratings against that maniac Glen Beck.

Stewart took on CNN, now he's at Fox.

Good man. Good man.
I love when he shows FOX clips, I can't believe how openly biased they are. At least Johns excuse is that hes not actually a journalist pedalling actual news. I've also seen John attack the Democrats when they do dumb shit, you won't see Fox attacking republicans unless its the primaries and they are picking there candidate.

I don't understand why American news stations take pot shots at stuff they dont like. I know they have their overall political views and such, but as a news station, shouldn't they just be giving people news?

I know the BBC isn't great, but at least it doesn't bad mouth people with differing views in a thinly veiled way.

He is solving the mystery of why O'Reilly is on TV in the first place.

he just can't take someone poking fun at his journalistic errors. you can't expect to be in the spotlight like that, and not take heat when you contridict yourself. plus, jon stewart is the king, so i'm sure he's also just jealous

ps... i'm pretty sure bill just hurt his own case with that segment. it just made him look worse.

pps... did anyone else notice that at 3:20, the bottom news stories talks about a man who stripped naked on a flight, beat a woman, and fought the crew? i would like to see more on that story, or perhaps a video. that'd be hilarious :)

Ugh. I CANNOT stand that that guy's insufferable smugness. John Stewart MAY be a little biased, Bill, but the thing is HIS bias is funny. YOUR bias is annoying. In fact, it often seems to me that liberals are usually funnier than conservatives, with the exception of South Park, but they are really more Libertarians. Actually, most Libertarians are funny, so I should say that Liberals and Libertarians are funny, while Conservatives seldom are. Just a trend I've noticed, feel free to correct me if you feel I'm wrong.

I get all of my political news from The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. News networks got nothing on Comedy Central.. lol

How sad is that?

More to the point.. Fox sucks.

"You're a satirist, Jon, you have a license to distort."

Yes, he does. Whats your excuse, FOX?

Not NEARLY as much as American television does. I always watch BBC World News because they do better coverage of our economy then our stations do.
