Bill OReilly of FOX news responds to John Stewart from The Daily Show

I love how he said himself and others were quoted out of context because:

1.) NONE of the meanings changed, they remained exactly or nearly the same.

2.) FOX does this to dems and liberals all the time, then suddenly they decide to play innocent like they never did it.

Lol, OReilly is truly a moron..... I find it quite sad a Comedy Show is more reliable and trustworthy than an actual news program..... And when he said that he was taken out of contexts with the Protester part, he totally wasn't, he said THE EXACT same thing as he did in Jon's clip

I find it funny that he's replying to a satyrical comedy programme like John is an actual journalist. Its like me treating Hugh Laurie as a medical doctor because hes in House. He also states that 45% of Johns viewers are liberal.

I'm not a big O'Reilly fan, but in truth there is a large proportion of teens and 20 somethings who take Stewart's show as news. When all you watch is the daily show for your information (which many do) you are not informed.

I feel there is too much opinion and not enough facts on FOX. Give people the news, but stop telling people what to think or how to react.

I still giggle every time I hear the term death pannel. Some people genuinely believe thats how things work.

I live in America and i get my news almost exclusively from the Daily Show and Colbert Report. But recently i branched out to BBC because it seem to be the most unbiased on topics, every American station has a lean, or a spin, or ratings agenda.

I find the best way to watch Fox is muted, CNN keeps trying to scare me and MSNBC is so left leaning it annoys me to.

Again, not exactly true. So many people do this nowadays and it ticks me off to no end. O' Reilly isn't, I repeat isn't a news program. He is a political pundit, a talking head much like Chris Matthews.

By no means are his shows supposed to give you the news. And for the record NEITHER his nor Stewart's shows are very reliable from a news standpoint. Thank you.

True, but there is a difference between individual bias from reporters, presenters etc, and the organized and coordinated bias that runs throughout all Murdoch media.

You're becoming no more informed when you watch FOX, CNN, or MSNBC either. The 24 hour news cycle has distorted and corrupted the way we receive information in this country, right along side the internet. These days, nobody does any fact checking, they just spew what they've heard out to an attentive audience.

Walter Chronchite said it best, television has ruined the ethics that journalism used to stand for.

I friggin' love American news-personalities. They take something as mundane as world events and make a little show out of it. In the UK it's still the classic dead-pan face, bit of info, interview, maybe a specialist to chip in a word or two. They smile occasionally these days but those people don't last long.

Ofcourse I suppose putting a political bias/slant on the news, and have it funded with tax-payers money would be a little bit on the off. Shame tho, it's good entertainment.

Obviously. There's way too much hate on it though when it has both good and bad, just like every other news station. It just has more bad than good, and also happens to be leaning toward Republican which makes most people freak out.
