OT: this is like KSM and LotSB dlcs for ME2 neat game changing dlcs but not required to enjoy the game. oh and because no one else has pointed this out the dlc costs $10 the CE costs $20 more so for all you other people bitching that you need to pay $20 extra for the dlc please do your math your actually getting the dlc and the game for about $70. In fact if the CE didnt have other stuff in it id be rather pissed that im getting screwed out of money.

To anwser your posted arguments, the DLC news gave a hint, the devs posted it in the forums, on the announcements, and as a anwser to a complaining fan in the ME3 speculation forums. And as I recall you were the one who said all those things (reversed) and YOU were the one who made all the accusations. We already proved at least half those things, and your "proved" list is ridiculous. You didn't prove anything, you didn't say anything besides speculation, insane ramblings and badly written, rage filled OPINIONS, that proved nothing besides your craziness and paranoia. And even if we didn't, each we did, YOU should be the one proving your arguments, since you were the one who posted them, twist them and you are the only one trying to prove anything.

So you trust this Thrikreen is telling the truth when he says he's a developer, but not the PR team.
Now this becomes more convoluted as I need proof that he works for Bioware, since I'm wary of people online saying they are Nigerian royalty or are developers for game companies.

If you look at Thrikeen's input into this thread, which can be seen through his profile. Look at the context of the conversations he had with Zeel, he discredits him almost 90% of the time. Mostly unsure about these theories he came up with, the only one occasion he agreed was with a topic we all agreed on there's hints that this NPC conveys information about Sheperds mission and this anti Repear weapon their building. As well as the DLC allows him to be a Squad member.

Bioware, It's a fucking Prothean.

Just let that sink in for a bit and realize that IT'S DIRECTLY RELEVANT TO THE PLOT!

Sure Bioware, remove all the fancy outfits and extras, but for gods sake keep the plot relevant stuff with the plot!

It's been pretty much confirmed that the prothean is in the game regardless, it's just the DLC adds him as a squad mate.

I do find it odd no one in Bioware has claimed that yet. And I would simply love that. I'm sure just releasing characters already in the game but, who don't join up with your squad as DLC squad mates would make a killing. I know I'd pay money to get some of my favorite classic squad mates back on my team.

Okay, believe it or not, I do know how this all works. I know there's been a lot of arguing in this thread, but a little less condescension would be nice on all parties part. Also, I'm on your side here. I'm inclined to believe that much of this day-one DLC was made after production on the main game had gone into post-production/testing.

That said, the release schedule involved here shows us one of two things. Either Bioware was too stupid to realize the shit-storm they'd face releasing it day-one, or they're not being entirely truthful with the production cycle of the DLC.

Even assuming the DLC was completed that quickly, they could have easily delayed it a week or two to avoid this whole mess. Either way, EA/Bioware should have known the controversy this would cause, if history were any clue.

Also, doesn't it seem a tad odd that they'd be mum about the DLC until it was accidentally revealed to the public, and are now in a rush to 'clean things up' with PR spin until the games release? After all, EA is notorious for this sort of thing. (anyone recall the Dead Space 2 fiasco?)

I'm just saying, I'd like to think Bioware isn't bullshitting it's fans, but the more that comes to light on all of this, the less I'm inclined to think that. But, again, it's up to the fans to determine the value of the DLC. So we shall see.

THANK you. I'm glad I'm not the only one flipping out over the people who are flipping out. I feel so bad for Bioware, that they work hard to get extra.... NOT CUT OR WITHHELD FOR FUCK'S SAKE..... content out on launch day, only to have to deal with overwhelming self-entitlement. I gladly laid down the extra cash for the CE, and even if I hadn't I probably would have paid for the DLC.
