I don't get it. People are upset because the company is making extra stuff for a game and they have to pay extra for it. It's not like this stuff is locked on the disk or extremely important to the story. Why are people getting upset? If I go out and buy a bicycle, I know that getting spare wheels, better brakes, and a headlight system (not that I want that junk) is going to cost me some extra bucks. But they aren't essential. Why must people get upset about this?
Let's see... would you rather have all the games on earth come with the DLC already installed, but the pricetag adjusted to match the total price? The company is making an extra part of the game for those who want it and are willing to pay for it, and they are NOT giving it for free. In fact, seeing as it's BioWare doing this, I wouldnt take anything for free from them, even if they offered it.
It's extra stuff they are selling. Everyone who is getting mad at this, you're a) not helping the situation by acting like whiny twelve-year-olds, and b) by demanding that your wants be chatered to like spoiled brats, you are not helping the gaming industry. If any company loses its customer base, it'll just find a new one. So grow up and deal with this more maturely.
