I'm still bitter over the "hottification" of default shep (fem shep from ME1 and 2 was awesome), but given a choice to vote. I've gotta go with the redhead. or the blonde.

Can I take both?

As I said in a similar thread:

There actually isn't a "default" femshep. What you're thinking of is a character that was created by using the rather crappy sliders Bioware provided for custom character creation. However, default manshep was NOT created with said sliders, and is significantly higher res and better looking than "default" femshep. The goal is to have a default canon femshep that is a counterpart to manshep.

Isn't it a bit late for that? They should have thought of it when making the first game. I've already gotten used to default FemShep (she looks just fine to me), why would they change it now?

I can understand that. Since most people seem to already like femshep the way she is, I think that's why it appears the canon femshep will be a green-eyed redhead. I don't think Bioware initially realized how popular femshep would be - not that that's any excuse.

But I personally like the idea of having a femshep that's looks as nice as manshep, and I mean in terms of resolution, not "hotness." And if you don't personally like it, you can still have your custom character.

So... doesn't everyone win?

Actually, it's because during the voting, many people who voted for the blonde femshep expressed that despite the fact they liked the face and hairstyle, they weren't necessarily crazy the blonde hair color. And they do also have black and brunette as options.

Yes, of course I mean Samus Aran, a blond bombshell who kicks more ass than maleshep and femshep together.

I voted for the blond just because of my above reason. We need more asskicking blonds.

It will be exactly like male default Shepard. You can't edit him. So if you don't like the hair color that wins, you'll have to create a custom character.

I'll just be happy to have that face as an option. All my femshep's look silly or kinda retarded. That one looks like it could mess you up and then go out on a date without cleaning up and no one would say anything. It matches the voice better.

Although I prefer the blond or the dirty blond (sorry its just not brown to me, that is my natural hair color) but if I can in game change the colors and keep the face I couldn't give a hoot less.
