I don't really take issue with her statement to be honest. She's a lead storywriter, not a game designer. BioWare have plently of talented people to make a good game with good gameplay with the story wrapped snuggly around it.

This worked a little too well to be thought up their marketers, and even then, they'd have to keep Bioware in the dark about it, which would really retarded on their part.

Really? Funny, I seem to recall that romancing Tali with a Femshep was impossible in the second game but now is possible in the first game. So is that shoehorned in?
