Amazon's got some great deals going on right now, like $15 for Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite. There's also Borderlands GOTY and Borderlands 2 for... $11.99 IIRC. I just picked up Alice: Madness Returns (The version where you get the original American McGee's Alice) for $7.50.
Pretty much every digital download code that they sell on Amazon goes to Steam or Origin anyway, many times I check there because you'll find deals and bundles they don't offer on Steam. EA has never heard of the word "sale" outside of "Monthly Sales Data", so Amazon's generally the best place to pick up any EA games you might be after on sale.

I'm not in/from the US, and I have no idea what this is.
Someone care to explain?
For a more serious explanation, Black Friday is the last Friday before December. The significance is that it's considered the first day of Holiday Shopping Season. Stores have trumped this up over the years, because it's a huge shopping day. Many people get Black Friday off of work, so it's a five-day weekend during which most people are going to start their christmas shopping. The stores used to open up at 6 am, people would camp out overnight to be the first people in. I'm seeing ads the last few days that suggest that Black Friday starts 8pm on Thanksgiving day. Hell, they've been running sales on Amazon and Steam since Wednesday.
Every year, there's reports of people getting trampled, assaults, all sorts of crazy things, as people fight each other over the goods in brick-and-mortar shops. It's ridiculous, probably our ugliest example of consumerism.
