Im sorry, but as soon as I saw the title I thought "Don't buy it then", if you don't like a certain game, buy one you like. I am assuming there will be barebones/hardcore playlists if you don't like certain aspects, if not go buy a different game.

Well, looks like MW3 lol. Nothing new really. That remote control car would be the biggest pain in the ass online... ugh. I'm betting the knife shooter thing is just to replace Commando so that there's a somewhat valid reason for people to be getting knife kills from 20 feet away that doesn't include teleportation.
On the whole, I might play the game for single player but won't be buying since the multiplayer holds little to no interest for me. I got my fill of the frag-fest that is MW2.

PC gamers shouldn't care because they confirmed dedicated servers. Which means no kill-streak airstrikes and other bullshit if you feel like it. And mods, lots of mods!
It felt like I was watching MW2 trailer, since most of the stuff is from MW2. Though I'll have to admit, while it is a bit cheesy in some of the things, it does seem a bit better than being nuked constantly and such. Besides, I'll give them credit for the background images of the things like the shuttle launching. That, is cool. I may give this game a chance. I'm not sure yet, however.
Am I the only one not persecuting it yet? It's made by Treyarch and it's obviously dropped all pretense of realism. It's almost funny how ridiculous it is. As long as the don't start pretending that this is all super realistic I'm actually a bit interested. I still wanna play it first before actually buying it.
I'm looking forward to it. Ever since I played WaW, I've preferred Treyarch's CODs. And the RC car sounds awesome.
What are you guys talking about? This looks kick ass man! It's got a ballistic knife, a Goliath (the little remote control car thing which was actually developed during World War II by the Germans, go figure) shuttles launching all over the place, missiles, a fuickin' crossbow with timed charged tips. It looks hectic, just the way it should be.
I know that there is cynicism regarding CoD multiplayer becuase of MW2 and there should be cynicism about it. I mean, the Commando perk was broken in that game. There is no reason that when I have a guy lined up in my sights and I am about to gun him down that he should be able to move a 300 mph and knife me to death in the blink of an eye. Nor is it tolerable that an antique shotgun should be appearing on a modern battlefield.
However, the ballistic knife has been proven to be a very lethal weapon so there really shouldn't be any complaints about that. As for the Goliath thing, it looks quirky, but shouldn't be broken and unstoppable.

Naturally, I can not say with complete, metaphysical certainty that the multiplayer portion is going to suck. But that whole sequence does not bode well.sennius said:

Due to the fact that I have a massive hatred towards Treyarch (CoD 3 and WaW were terrible imo) I was expecting this to be more of the same trademark Treyarch rubbish, however I have to admit that that video kind of made me interested, I still probably won't buy the game..
i am guessing you have played mw2 multiplayer so you probably know about players running around with commando and marathon knifing anyone in the back.

I've spent the last half hour lunging forward like that. Trust me, you can move pretty fast when you want to. Granted, they are wearing heavy gear, but they are also stronger and pumped on adrenaline. I reckon it's possible.AndyFromMonday said:

I'm horribly disappointed. None of the guns had recoil, the knife is still a lock on guaranteed one-hit-kill from stupid distances, there will likely still be shitty perks that get cheap kills and the crappy killstreak rewards are still there. Bring back COD United Offensive instead of this cheap skilless shit. Treyarch made it sound like they were moving away from this stuff but it looks like a reskin.
