Black-Ops Needs More Perks; Ideas?

With only 15 total base perks (30 counting pro versions), Blops is starting to feel rather stale, at least for me. It took about a year before I even felt the same for MW1 (22 perks total) and MW2 (16 base, 32 total). This could just be chalked up to the fact that most if not all of the Blops perks are rehashed versions from previous CoD titles.

So, what do Escapists have in mind for additions, changes or subtractions to the Blops' perk system?

I think that Overkill would've made a pretty cool comeback from MW1. I'd also like to get rid of the Scout perk, and make the pro version (switch weapons faster) it's own base perk (probably Quickdraw) and its pro version would be faster weapon charging/deployment.

I want a perk that makes everyone on the opposing team hear "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO......on a loop......the entire match. Forgive me, my online experience......actually my total experience with blackops was bad, and so i must make everyone else in the multiplayer matches suffer. Good song, though.

How about a "Dog Handler" perk? (Start with one or two Attack Dogs?)

Blops multiplayer is broken simply because of latency compensation and a shit spawn system. The perks and weapons they have are good, if leaving something to be desired.

How about a perk that disables microphones.

Why the hell did they change the function of voice volume from Modern Warfare 2? It's a pain in the ass to go through and mute half the players in the game.

What about one that gives you better protection to Flamethrowers (Flame Prof) or that allows you to sneak by Attack Dogs ( Dog Handler)?

Flak Jacket pro provides flame protection, of course I rarely ever get to throw back a frag grenade to unlock it.

These are perks I think could be nice, or at least, different:
(Disclaimer: just ideas, probably wouldnt do good for balance)
-Multitasker: You can sprint and shoot at the same time. Tier 3 perk, so no this+marathon. Could be a must for SMG rushers. Of course you would be more inaccurate, but hey, it doesnt matter with a smg.
-Protective stab-vest: Functions exactly like flak jacket, but instead of explosions, it protects you from attacks with the knife unless you are backstabbed (not side-, but back. and by back i mean back!). No insta kills anymore, EXCEPT from behind. Tier 1 perk.
-Alternative Warlord, get one more tactical grenade of your choice, tier 2.

Edit: In black Ops I am annoyed by the pro requirements, as so many of them can't be completed in HC, and I play only HC.

Double Edit: A perk that plays that "What a wonderful world" song for any player in the match who curses in chat. Tier 4!

Well, to be serious for a second, I would suggest three, one for each class.

For the Primary, Commando. Not to be confused with the bullshit perk from MW2, Commando is actually the nemesis of the insta-kill move. When an enemy player attacks you with the knife, and they are in front of, or on either side, you will get to prry the knife with whatever gun you have out, and bash them with it, causing a flashbang like disoriantation. The Pro version you get an animation where you grab thir knifing arm, twist and break it, and plunge their knife into their own throat.

For secondary, Techy. Techy lets you actually take enemy equipment that has been set, Like the Jammer or Claymore. Its only draw back is that if you have no equipment on you, you can pick up anything, but if you have say the claymore, you can only pick up claymores. The pro version will give you emunity to the effects of equipment like the Jammer and claymore (for the claymore, it wont detonate if you stp in the firing range.)

And for tertiary, Flesh Wound. Flesh would will cause one Knife attack per life to not kill you. This means if an enemy knifes you, you wont die. That dosnt mean you gt off scot free. You are still put near death and easy to kill. Pro version will reduce the amount of damage you receive to half.

I want a perk that disables the perks of everyone in the game (on both teams), and forces everyone to use default, non-upgraded weapons, and removes all kill-streak awards.
(i.e. A perk that makes the game balanced.)

Or hey, rickrolling people who crouch too much (AKA T-bagging) and talk for too long would be just fine for me.

If you brought back Juggernaught you'd have to bring back Stopping Power.
Deny it and you're a tool.

They balanced each other out.

They tried that before. It was called Juggernaut. Everyone but the users hated it.

How about more perk slots? Three isn't many. Make them have more of an effect, two.

Blood tracker: You can see a faint trail that shows where enemies you shot have gone. It tracks them until they regenerate the wound, and the blood fades soon afterward.

Teamwork: Gain 10% better accuracy when near team-mates. Pro-version applies it to health regeneration.

One where you can press a button while aiming at a team-mate's body, and see the killcam that killed them. To this effect, make bodies stay longer.

Also, Warlord should let you have more attachments. I'm thinking a sight, an under-barrel thing (grip, flamethrower) a mag related one (dual mags, extended mags, tracers, hollow points, FMJ) and a barrel one (Rapid Fire, silencer). Some of the categories are silly, but still.

Also, there should be different bullet types. Tracers are self explanatory, but Hollow points could have no penetration but make your victim heal slower, etc.
