They REALLY aren't useful in Australia. Still awesome. I'd wear one of those all the time if I had one.

I once dressed with black clothing for holloween.

I was dressed as a wraith.

do you know how hard it is to see at late nighttime when you're wearing a black hood over your face? my costume was pretty thin, so it took some getting used to. but it didn't stop me from bumping into fences, gates, and the occasional low-hanging tree branch. But on 2 upsides, almost all the neighbors I knew didn't regonize me for having my hood over my face, I find myself speaking to candy-givers in an ereie voice to the point where I occasionally refer to some of them as 'motals', and the response of the candy-givers ranges from humored, startled, to briefly mistaking me for part of the nighttime darkness.

Quite an interesting holloween adventure, was it? not to mention I probably got at 5 to 6 pounds of candy in the end.

So, I wear all black clothes. Im not goth or emo or anything, I just like black clothes because it makes me feel thinner (Low Self-Esteem). Anyway, I also wear a black robe. Most people I know dont comment it, or they give positive comments. Even the teachers in my school give me extremely positive comments, (My music teacher said it reminded him of his childhood and I got 2 hours of time to myself to play guitar without everyone else banging the drums to death). Anyway, some of the people in my school that I dont really know at all mock me and call me Luke Skywalker.. Which in my opinion is the most tasteless joke ive ever heard. Anyway, it doesnt bother me, but what im wondering is what is your opinion on black robes?

The robe I wear.

EDIT: I didnt know what it was called in english so I just wrote something.. Overcoat, Trench Coat, Whatever.
really, luke skywalker? That looks more like Neo, or jokes revolving around the matrix series.

Anyway, although i don't know what you look like, it seems fine to me.

The people that make matrix jokes make them as jokes, the people that say Luke Skywalker say it to piss me off. Which doesnt actually work but anyway.

Wearing a trechncoat is the rough equivalent of a social middle finger. So if that's the message you want to convey, you're doing a fantastic job.
And whys that?

I had this cool jacket with chains on the front.

It's too small now, but when I wore it people called me Michael Jackson. XD

I'd mock you too if you made fun of my avatar.

Well, actually, I usually politely let people know that I'm not Emo.

Then I mock them.

I dont make fun of it. I just tell him it scares me and I dont like it... Granted I say it almost every time I see him.

Well, I wasn't making fun, per se. Broad term.

He's got an awesome name, though. Reminds me of a parachuting raptor with a German WWII helmet on.

That should be his avatar.

Luke Skywalker? ...What? Neo is so much more fitting. I personally wouldn't wear it but it is a nice coat.

This reminds me to buy a new coat. I've been saving up for one for a while now *look longingly at picture of it*

I too will have to chime in with the 'overcoat not a robe' thought.
secondly Luke? I am so confused. Maybe the just assume you're a nerd and call you the only nerdy thing they can think of. I know lots of people that wear mostly/all black. It's not that uncommon.
