"No more saki, we got a mission." Brad said as he sat down, placing Izunagi at his side.

"We cant afford for any of our team to be plastered and not be able to do his job."

Kyuusoku took a quick sig before taking his dish and sake and sliding them back into his robes. He followed to others into Urahara's shop and laid down comfortable in the corner.

"So where do we actually start when it comes to this whole mission slash investigation of ours? Do we have any types of leads?" Kyuusoku asked.

Brandon couldn't help but gaze in wonder at Urahara, he had been the founder of the R&D department. Why he had left from such a respectable and comfortable position was beyond Brandon. He glared at Abhiryu as he commented on the saki. I can't tell if that's typical squad eleven behavior or if he's just a prick. He thought sitting down. placing his Zanpakuto against the wall.

Jason wasn't hungry or tired, so when they arrived at the store he jumped up to the roof and sat down. Here he waited patiently, and watched for any signs of any Hollow.

Suddenly, the reason the the stillness in the Dangai was apparent.

Kage wasn't the first to notice, but he wasn't the last. The spiritual pressure had changed as the cleaner approached them. Where it had come from, or why it was coming now was anyones guess, but he didn't need to guess what would happen if it caught them.

"EVERYONE! GO THROUGH THE GATE, ILL BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!"

Kage looked forward toward Brad, seeing everyone ahead of him vanishing through the gate, and then looked back at the yellow eye of the cleaner. He had to move now. Running forward in a panic, his steps became clumsy and he stumbled off to the side. He realised that he couldn't touch the wall and pulled away, but the sleeve of his robe touched it. The wall of the Dangai grabbed the cloth and tried to rip him in with it, digging in his feet to keep from being pulled in. It needed to be cut, but his sword was unavailable.

"Ah! Let me go!" he yelled out, pulling hard away from the wall. His sword unavailable, he did the only thing he could do.

"Hado #2: Katto!

Reaching across himself, he waved his finger over the sleeve of his garb. The spiritual energy cut through it like a knife in a single, clean slice. Severed from the wall, he stumbled backwards and fall on the ground, looking up at the cleaner as it got closer. A few more seconds and it would run him over.

"Sorry for this pal."

Kage never heard him approach, but he felt him leave. Holding the back of his collar, the familiar pull overwhelmed him as Brad flash stepped back through the gate and dragged him with. Sitting on the ground just in front of the gateway, he watched as the cleaner approached and the doors shut on the single, great, yellow eye.

He was in the human world. For the first time in over two hundred years, he stood up and looked around. This wasn't his hometown, but it still all looked the same. Nothing ever seemed to change here. Brad and the others were talking o someone that had met them. Kage didn't know who it was, but apparently they were following him now, everyone walking into a shop just off the street.

Ken dispelled his Zanpakto and but the old hilt back in his coat pocket. He walked over to Brad, who was talking to some old guy.

"Hey Brad, Who's the old guy?" Ken asked as he walked up to the pair.

Aoshi answered for Brad, "That's Kisuke Urahara, former captain of Squad 12 and the originator of the Shinigami Research Institute." Satisfied with what he had said, he nodded to the former captain, leaving one of his bottle of sake next to him before venturing inside of the Urahara Shoten.

"Aoshi is right, this man is the former 12th squad captain, and he should be treated as such, please watch your toungs around him, we will leave in a bit, so please, be ready." Brad said, feeling a bit tired, but ready to move on when everyone else is ready.

Kyuusoku grabbed stumbled to his feet after a quick nap and ventured outside. The breeze was relaxing though he felt something in the air. Someone or something wanted to make their presence known. Kyuusoku tightly clenched his fist. He was going to need to be ready for anything.

Abhiryu turns and notices someone's back as they exit through the door. He goes to the doorway and notices that Kyuusoku is standing outside, he sees Kyuusoku is very tense.

"What are you doing?"

Kyuusoku turned to see Abhiryu walking up behind him. He turned to the fellow Shinigami to face him and quickly turned back and looked up at the sky.

"Getting a good feel of the human world. Haven't been here for years, it's good to try and get your footing you 'know."

 

[All Hail Lelouch]

"Ugh, why do we have to keep running all the time? Can't we walk for a change?" Ken whined at Brad. "I don't know how to flash step, so i have to keep releasing and expending my Reshi just to keep up with you guys! Surely these humans aren't disappearing by the minute are they!?"

Ken pulled out his Zanpakto again and began twirling it while waiting for Brad's signal to leave.

"This place is horrible ever since i came here i've been feeling a little bit off. I think I need to run around or something, I don't know."

Abhiryu turns back to Urahara's place, maybe i just need some rest.

Brad looked over to ken.

"do you want to go back in there? Ill open up the gate again and let you meet the cleaner." Brad joked.

"The faster we get this done, the faster we can go home, that make sense?"

Name: Tatsuo Miragi

Age: 235 (Looks 23)

Zanpakuto: Demon Emperor Melchsee- The blade is a bit longer than most katana, with midnight black runes that look almost burned into the silver blade. The guard is in the shape of an hourglass, while the sheath is midnight black, with two silver lines running down the sides.

Shikai: Phrase- ?Royal Decree of Execution? -Melchsee?s blade widens to the width of a palm, while black plate metal sheaths Tatsuo?s right arm up to the forearm. Tatsuo gains the ability to create portals at this stage, which can connect any two points in space within the range of his vision. This also includes directly behind him. His favorite move that perfectly uses his abilities is the ?Roulette Arena?, which creates multiple portals that are all connected to each other, allowing Tatsuo to attack from any point in space. This however, can go both ways if the enemy figures out the configuration.

Bankai: ?Melchsee?s Throne?- Tatsuo thrusts his sword into a portal, causing both it and the metal on his arm to disappear. A black wing appears on his left shoulder blade, while the void replaces the metal on Tatsuo?s arm. A crown of shadows materializes on his head. Tatsuo can form the void into any shape. Melchsee?s Throne targets and consumes Reiatsu, then when it reaches full power, releases it all in one overwhelming attack. This final attack forces Melchsee to revert to his sealed form.

Squad: 13

Appearance: Standing at 6?1?, Tatsuo has midnight black hair that is cut a bit short and ice cold blue eyes that can freeze you in your tracks. Around the front of his neck and reaching to his chest, Tatsuo has a tattoo of seven thin triangles that extend point outwards, like the rays of the sun. They reach from 45 degrees one way to 45 degrees the other way, with one pointing right downward

Bio: Tatsuo cannot remember anything from his old life. All he remembers is wandering the Desert of Hollows, then nearly being killed by a massive hollow before being saved by Captain Hitsugaya. The two of them returned to the Soul Society, where Tatsuo trained at the Academy in the hopes of becoming a Soul Reaper. When he earned his Zanpakuto and joined the Gotei 13, he was overjoyed. He was similarly destroyed by Aizen?s decision to betray the Soul Society. Now, Tatsuo merely lounges around, stuck at 5th seat since he doesn?t care about promotion, though he could easily be 3rd seat by now.

Jason sat on the roof, listening to the others down below in the building. A few humans passed, but they couldn't see him, not while he was in soul form. He sighed, leaning back so he was laying flat on his back, his arms propping up his head.

"I wonder what happened back there... Wasn't the cleaner supposed to be deactivated for us?" Jason mumbled to himself, thinking about what had transpired in the senkaimon.

Kyuusoku jumped up above the shop and landed on a nearby telephone. The skyline of Karakura Town night was simple and quaint. It was relaxing and had a sense of peace mixed in with it. Kyuusoku jumped over to the rood where Jason sat and landed next to him.

"What you doing sitting up here while everyone else is inside?"

"Truth be told, I've never really liked Urahara. He has always been too relaxed and comfortable with whatever happens." Jason admitted, looking up to see Kyuusoku standing beside him, "Besides, I'm thinking about something that happened before we entered the senkaimon."

Aoshi had briefly entered the Shoten before settling for leaning against a wall outside. Who could actually be powerful enough to not only know and sense when we were coming from, but to reactivate the cleaner at the most opportune time to take us out of the picture? This mission seemed to have been fucked from the get go. Jason's comment brought him out of his thoughts, showing him that at last some of the team seemed to be on the ball. "It was Jason, it should have been deactivated for our crossing which is in itself disconcerting. Whoever reactivated it had to have known we were coming and planned to eliminate us before we became a problem."

"Then that would mean, it was someone in the Research Department? Because nobody else has access to the cleaners." Jason said, thinking to himself, "It appears we may have bigger problems than saving humans, if whoever activated this knew of what we were doing, than they would have to be of Captain rank or higher, not even my Lieutenant knew what the Head Captain wanted."
