Bleach: The Hollows Roar (Closed, started)

"We might have to check on that. It could be that Aizen still has an insider in the soul society advising him on our actions. Who else would want us out of the way?" Aizon, Ichimaru, and Tosen were all captains. Who knows what they could have rigged up in the time they had to plan their betrayal of the soul society...

 

[Brad Shepard]

Brad had fallen asleep, waiting for the others to get ready, but quickley sprung up when he felt a hollow nearby.

"Lets go people!" Brad yelled, grabing his sword and running out side.

"Aoshi, Jason, theres a hollow near here, and a powerful one at that, lets go!" He said, jumping on top of a nearby building, jumping off twords the west.

"You think that one will be enough?" The 2nd voice asked as he closed the dark portal into the human world.

"For that small group of soul reapers? it should be more then enough." The first voice smiled a dark smile, walking off into a pure white hallway.

'theres somthing going on here... why would Yamamoto send a group this large after a few missing humans?' Urahara thought as Brad ran out.

As the former captian walked into the next room, he looked at two small children.

"Jinta, Ururu, go prepare the training ground, i have a feeling where going to need it for our guest later on..." He said as the children ran off.

'be safe Brad, we have no idea how deep this goes.'

Aoshi was up in a flash, leaping to the roof before flash stepping to keep up with Brad, his hand resting firmly on his zanpakuto. When it rains it Goddamn fucking pours doesn't it. "Any idea on the strength or amount of the hollows Brad?"

Brandon woke wth a start as he sensed the hollows spiritual pressure. He had been jerked from a dream about his and Cihiros wedding day. "Damn Hollows, interrupting my good time." he grumbled grabbing his swords and flash stepping outside and after Brad. He caught up with him soon After Aoshi.

Kyuusoku was resting when he noticed everyone springing into action. He quickly got up and as soon right next to Aoshi and Brad.

"What I miss?"

 

[All Hail Lelouch]

"Dammit people! Can't you run at a pace that i can keep up with!? RYUKIBA!" Ken whined as he released his Zanpakto and used the wind to chase after the other Soul Reapers.

" Why did they send me on a mission like this when the higher-ups KNEW that I don't know how to flash step!? "

 

[Brad Shepard]

"Its big, really big, almost as big as a Menos..." Brad said, having gone up agenst a few Menos in his day.

And its near..." Brad closed his eyes as he took a long leep in the air, trying to remember the mental map of the town from his last visit.

"The fucking hospital, Great!" He yelled, picking up his speed.

"Ready your Zanpakuto, we are probley going to need to release our shikai for this one."

Aoshi nodded at what Brad had said before drawing his zanpakuto, its sheath dissolving into shadows. It wouldn't be the first time I fought a Menos though the timing seems too perfect to be anything other then a planned action. Something is definitely pulling the strings here and the higher ups didn't tell them anything about it. I wonder what other surprises our in store for us?

"Shit something that bad huh?" Brandon asked as he continued to run. "I've only had to deal with one of those. Ah well no time like the present." He said drawing his swords. "Open your eyes...Tsuinhitsu Ryu." He called as his swords glowed. The hilts morphed into guards over his hands, the blade curved and split at the tip. When the light disappeared the guards on the hilts resembled flying dragons.

The dragon on the hilt on the right was Red, while the one on the left was blue. "Well this isn't gonna be easy." He mumbled.

Kage remained outside the building while everyone else stayed inside. Listening keenly, it sounded like a party. People were talking, drinking, and god knows what else. For a mission important enough to be assigned directly by the captain of all captains, no one seemed to be taking this very seriously. Perhaps this was why they were all assigned into such a large group: Everyone knew they couldn't handle this individually or in pairs.

Leaning against the doorway, he simply waited, quietly, calmly. Running off alone was a bad idea, one that he didn't much care for even though it would probably be better than dealing with the group. Overhead, two shinigami had taken up position on top of a telephone and were busy talking amongst each other. Kage looked up, but disregarded them. They were as laid back as the rest. Even so, he dared not go against his orders.

It was some time before the activity inside changed. Suddenly everyone was on the move. Kage had just enough time to get up before the group started pouring through the doorway.

"Aoshi, Jason, theres a hollow near here, and a powerful one at that, lets go!" Brad yelled as he dashed out the door. Kage followed him as he took off, the group getting a head start on him but his shunpo caught him up with the lead.

"Dammit people! Can't you run at a pace that i can keep up with!? RYUKIBA!"

Kage heard someones voice behind him, it was the squad 11 shinigami who apparently didn't know how to flash step. That wasn't good. The last thing they needed was another liability. Beside him, Brad was speaking to the others in the group, ignoring the squad 11 member.

"Its big, really big, almost as big as a Menos..." Brad told them without breaking stride, "and it's near. Ready your Zanpakuto, we are probley going to need to release our shikai for this one."

Kages hand reached into his thin robes and gripped his zanpakuto, though he didn't draw it yet. Keeping pace with Brad easily, he looked ahead.

"I'm going to scout ahead." Kage told him before he used his shunpo, disappearing from sight. In several steps, he was far ahead of the group, traveling over the rooftops. Using his soul phone as a guide, he followed the signal to the hollow. It wasn't hard to find.

He stopped on a building about six stories high, giving him a good vantage point. The hollow had emerged in what looked like a park across the street from a hospital, and a large one at that. Given what he'd been told in his assignment, there had to be a human with high spiritual power around here, and the hospital was as good a place as any to assume. So all he had to do was keep it away. But this one he couldn't take alone, there was no way.

This hollow was big. Very big. It looked bipedla though it was walking on all fours, its body covered from head to tail in bleached white, boney plates. Solid, strong limbs and a tail that lashed out in three pointed ends, all with spiked tips. The mask it wore was reminiscent of a war helmet, angled and broad. This hollow was a beast.

Kage used his shunpo and quickly ran back to the rest of the group, circling around wide and coming up alongside them, he rejoined them in the middle so the entire group could hear him.

"Hey, I've located the hollow. From here head west northwest. It's in a large park across the street from a hospital. That's not all" Kage told them as he recounted the hollows description. He made it as brief as he could trying to give them all the details before the fight, but they would all see soon enough. he just hoped they were ready.

Jason hadn't jumped up like the others when they were told there was a hollow. Instead, as they disappeared into the distance, Jason used his flash step to catch back up with them. He fell in step behind Aoshi, and by the looks of things, they had already released their Zanpakuto.

"Lash out Ryūsei." Jason said, as he drew his blade. The blade of his zanpakuto disappeared in a burst of flames. Where his blade had once been, now a completely black and white blade had taken its place. He hadn't yet used the flames, because that was dangerous around allies.

Now, he was ready to destroy whatever Hollow stood in his way...

This will be my last post before school, but I will try posting after school again.

Evela shot up at the mention of a hollow. "Leave it alive for experiments!" He yelled as he began chasing down the group currently running towards the Hollow.

He heard a mention of activating their shikai's, just in case. He pulled out his sword and yelled to himself, "Make it Loud, Meikyoku". At the mention of its name, the blade reacted happily, sending out loud sound-waves from itself as strings began to run down the side and a few holes appeared in the side of it, increasing the noise output.

He smiled as he saw his sword be converted to his guitar but kept on running, catching up to the group. "Gee, that sounds like heaps of fun" he commented to KageNeko, but he secretly was happy inside himself. 'Sweet, I haven't had the chance to inspect one of those colossus in person before, sounds like fun.'

 

[Brad Shepard]

Brad looked up at what Kage had said.

Well crap..." He responded, seeing the park in the distance.

"Ok guys, lets go!" Brad yelled, landing in front of the gate to the park, seeing the hollow in plane sight.

KageNeko was right, Brad thought, this thing is a monster, it reminded him of a insect, with its teeth and three pointed tail, its claws, and its almost exoskelaten armor, this was a powerful hollow, and the group knew it.

"Ready Izunagi?" Brad asked his sword, drawing it from its sheath.

"Shine light upon the truth! Izunagi!" Brad yelled, as he held both the handle, and the blade with his hands, his Sword trnasformed in a yellow light, the handle and the blade both turned back and became a staff, and as the light hit the top of the staff, a rather intresting blade appeared, adorned with teal gems, the spear that is Izunagi was ready for battle.

Jason laughed, using his flash step to get behind the hollow. While he was still in the air, he swung his blade, the blade splitting apart, held together by flames that quickly swallowed it up. He lashed the whip downward, aiming it for the creatures neck. He hadn't expected his attack to hit, but he wanted to test how fast this hollow was.

He looked down to see the others still running. Apparently he was the only one daring to fight this thing head-on. His blade sped downward, not really a blade anymore but more of a fire whip, and stretched to immeasurable distances.

Kage kept up with the group as they dashed through the streets, quickly approaching the grounds that he'd already covered. Rounding the corner of a building they suddenly opened up to an expansive park, the massive hollow towering over the trees and structures within. Behind it, the hospital shone like a checkerboard with the lighted windows. One of those windows was in danger. It was time to go to work.

"Time to go to work." he said before leaping high into the air. His garb fluttered in the air as he flew towards the hollow. His hand, still resting on the hilt of his zanpakuo, tensed and tightened around the cords gripping it tightly. With a single, swift motion, he drew his blade.

"Alright, Gleam, here we go. Bite!" Kage yelled. His arm reached out to the side before he swung in a broad horizontal arc. At the apex of his swing, he released his zanpakuto and the cords on the hilt unraveled. The blade shot out in front of him towards the hollows head impacting it hard but bouncing off its toughened carapace. With a yank of the corded rope the blade returned to him, catching it with his free hand. As his jump passed over the hollow he gave it one more shot, throwing the blade out at its neck, but it bounced off just like before.

Recoiling his weapon once more he landed on the other side of the hollow some distance away from the squad 10 shinigami, passing him mid air as he attacked the hollows neck as well. His feet hit the ground, his footwear sliding on the grass, wet with dew in the night. Finally coming to rest, he stood and looked up at the hollow, letting out some rope on his blade and giving his a swing into a full spin.

"Jeez, my first hollow and it's a monster." he said as he poured on a bit more speed into his swing, the blade disappearing a silver blur as he readied his second attack.

The hollow looked at the group, seeing at least 4 soul reapers in eye shot, it's eyes narrowed its yellow eyes at the thought of these... weaklings fighting it.

Before it could even think, one of them disappeared and re appeared behind it, striking at its neck, the jagged blade touching his armor, it made a scratch, which was surprising to say the least, for as soon as the blade touched the armor, the hollow used its tail to smack Jason into the hospital wall.

"Seems like some trouble is oging on outside..." A man said from a office inside the hospital, fixing his glasses.

"I sense a hollow, along with several soul reapers, the hollow is powerful no less... None of my problem." He said, pushing the silver hair out of his face, going back ot his paperwork as the pictures on his wall rattled.

"Damnit!" Brad yelled as he saw Jason get hit.

"Got to try somthing creative..." Brad said to himself, seeing everyone release there sword's powers.

He jumped at the hollow, holding his spear in one hand, waiting for the beast to strike as he did so.

"GHAAAA!" The insect hollow roared, using his massive hand to sweep at Brad.

"Just what I hoped." He said, using the spear to leep off of his hand by striking at it, using the recoil to sprinboard off of the beast.

"Oh Lord up above, maker of Ground and sky, hear my cry! srike down on the force that we face! Hado #4 Byakurai!" Brad changed, forming his fingers into a gun shape, firing a blast of pale blue lightning at his foe.

It hit hte hollow in almost the same spot Jason had attack, causing a massive smoke cloud to erupted in the monster.

Brad stood in the sky to get a birds eye view on the battle, only to be attacked.

The hollow jumped up, its eyes fixed on the young leader as he smacked him to the ground with his fist, the soul reaper smacking the ground hard, his spear embeded into the ground next to him.

Brad layed there, shocked for a moment, but rising to his feet as the beast readied for another attack.

"This bastard is tough..." He said, picking Izunagi up.

Jason pushed himself off the now crumbled wall of the hospital. His sword laying in its normal released state underneath a large rock. A small trickle of blood ran down his forehead, falling down past his eyes and onto the floor. He grabbed his Zanpakuto, and pushed himself to his feet. He looked back to see Brad about to be attacked again.

Jason flash stepped onto the beasts back, lashing out his zanpakuto, the flames trying to snake their way around the hollows neck.

Abhiryu sprints to what he could feel as the hollow's and the other Shinigami's presents in the distance. He is ready to passes the others and begin his burning trail straight to the hollow. I don't think that those guys can have all the fun without me. He will not be excluded from this fight.

He sheaths both his Zanpakuto, "Soar and fly Rakuto".

The blades from both swords disappears, in its place bones creep from the hilt of his swords and begin forming the bone wings of Rakuto. As Abhiryu runs his swords' wings spread. He jumps into the air with his arms behind him, gaining tremendous distance, he could now see the hollow and the others, in a park, in the distance. As he heads faster and faster to the park, his grip becomes tighter on both his swords. As he reaches the hollow, he attempts a slash right across its face.

 

[All Hail Lelouch]

Ken Stood on the roof of the Hospital, observing the Hollow's movements. He saw jason get swatted like a fly and slammed into the hospital wall.

"Oooh! That's gotta hurt." Ken winced as he felt the impact from his perch. The Hollow had appeared to not notice Ken...

"Are you ready Ryukiba?" Ken asked his Zanpakto. The response was a whirlwind surrounding Ken, controlled by Spiritual pressure.

"3. 2. 1. LETS ROCK!" Ken kicked off hard and shot through the air. The spiritual wind accelerating him even more. Ken impacted with the back of the Hollow's head, sending it into a frenzy, thrashing about wildly to throw off Ken.

"GRAAAAAAH!" Ken Brandished Ryukiba above his head as he held on to the Hollow's head. "Lets see how well you fight when half your world is covered in darkness!!! HRAAAAAH!" Ken plunged his Zanpakto downward into the Hollow's left eye.

"GWAAAAAARRRRRR" The beast howled as half of it's vision disappeared.

"Whoa Whoa whoa!?" Ken shouted as he was bucked off the thrashing monster's neck and was now hanging in front of it by his Zanpakto.

Brandon watched as the others attacked the Hollow. He was powerful no doubt about it, but something seemed off. "No time to worry about that now. Time to end him before he hurts some one." He said grasping his blades. "Duplicate." He mumbled as a second Brandon appeared next to him holding the Red hilted sword, the original was now only holding the blue.

" All right! Let's get this asshole!" He yelled charging forward, his sword held at his right, ready to slice at the Hollow. The Brandon with the blue sword looked board and sighed.

"He's always like this. Can't say he's wrong though. He said charging forward as well, his sword held on his left.
