Prefer Naruto. Found the story more interesting, the music more awesome and I like the characters charm, in the violent world they lived in it certainly helped build character. Well, up to episode 135 anyway, after that it was all filler and I don't like Shippuden.

I also liked Bleach but only to the end of the first season, the second season was boring and pretty much felt like filler. I watched some of the later episodes but lost interest since it was hardly any different than the previous seasons. You know, Ichigo starts of weak but finds a quick source of power to take on evil that was 10 times more powerful than him before.

Naruto has been average with spurts of awesome the whole way through. Bleach was absolutely brilliant until the end of the Soul Society act, then it got weird.

Bleach gets my vote.

Also, stop bitching about no VS threads, it won't help.

Neither, they're both way to long and overstayed their welcome.

Im gonna go with the manga for Negima, it's the only long running series that I enjoy.

To be honest they've both gone downhill. Kubo trolled everyone with what happened in Bleach and Naruto's character started to piss me off...'I have to bring Sasuke back'.... and
'We'll die together'
shit like that made me think, naruto really is a retard.

The manga was really great and entertaining, too bad the anime sucked.

Fav character was Motoko (I sorta have a samurai girl fetish)

Well, never watched the latter, and I got over the former after the first episode. However, I remember there being a rather large pair of breasteses in Bleach, so I'm gonna go with that. Bleach wins by titty-default.

Dude its WAY BETTER THAN BLEACH AND NARUTO COMBINED

Its really an underrated shonen(that means action manga right?)manga.

I would love to see an anime adaption of the manga.

But I guess they're gonna stick with the OVA's

Between those two, I like both fairly equally. They offer similar and yet different styles and stories. And there are things that I love and hate about both series.

Oh, and I recommend 666 Satan, you might find the mangas in stores by the name O-Parts Hunter. It's by Seishi Kishimoto. You might recognize that name a little.

They both started out good, but then Naruto pulled that year long filler, and I haven't watched it since.
This is why I switched to reading the manga. Of both of these really. I think Bleach suffered from filler, too. The first time Ichigo uses his Bankai in the manga, it took like two pages. In the anime, it took like 10 minutes and included Orihime and company being useless on the sidelines far from the fight talking about Ichigo and his power and the fight.

Of the two series filler, I like Bleach's better because it was actually one cohesive story. The Naruto filler amounted to putting random characters together and having them fight some unimportant enemy that no one ever heard of for a few episodes. Rinse and repeat.

I suggest you do the same. No filler!

Of those two, Naruto. Why? Because at least shit HAPPENS in that story! Bleach is sooooo drawn out that it hurts. I mean, what has happened in the last few chapters of Naruto? Armies have begun to clash, people have died in battle, exposition has been told... the works. What has happened in the last few chapters of Bleach? Uryu got attacked on ONE PAGE and the rest has pretty much consisted of Ichigo getting stalked. DULL, DULL, DULL!
I actually thought they were going to end Bleach after that one huge plot point. I guess I should have known that they would want to milk that franchise. I'll agree that nothing has happened in Bleach... yet. But I think this is setting up the next big plot. A plot that will probably revolve around Ichigo's father and his secrets. It's not any worse than what they do in other animes really.

Still, I am anticipating this fight in Naruto.

I like them both. I read them both every week.

I'd try to form an opinion on what's better, but I'm much too busy thinking about what's going to happen or what has happened or what's happening to care.

Judging by the beginning of each, I would say Bleach. The Soul Society arc was pretty good. On the other hand, judging the current content of each, I say Naruto hands down. While Naruto has just been getting better, Bleach seems to be going down hill with each chapter.

though im willing to admit its not as good as others.

And yes Shonen means Young Boy manga, but Kin still adds too much creepy fanservice for my tastes.
But that's what he does for a living so it doesn't bother me.

And i actually thought Negima was quite popular, and there has been two Anime series, i think?
Neutral would know.

Naruto had a shaky (actually shitty) start. Ninjas who don't seem to care much about stealth? What the hell? I loathed my friend for forcing me to watch it. However, after a cruddy first arc, it suddenly got very good very fast. I was completely surprised by how quickly the writing took a turn for the better and characters that I had despised suddenly became endearing. All of the actual plot episodes in the first series are great. Shippuden completely blows the first series out of the water though. Unfortunately, it gets bogged down by absolutely god awful filler, but if you avoid that, then all that remains is great action, great characters, and scenarios with some actual gravity to them.

While Naruto had a bad start, Bleach had a pretty good one. However, I quit pretty fast when I saw how much later episodes loved to draw things out. I can't invest that much time into a show that can't ever get to the point.

So... yeah, Naruto for me. Though based on what I've heard from the manga, I'm not entirely sure I want to see the adaptations for where they're at now. Everything after the 5 Kage Summit seems.... weird.

I've stopped watching both a long time ago, but I think I enjoyed Bleach more. Maybe it's because of all of Naruto's filler that I actually took the time to watch. Bleach seemed much more streamlined in comparison. Shippuuden did pick it up, but I've since sworn off of shonen anime. Instead, I went on a Slice of Life binge + a minor obsession with the Haruhi Suzumiya series. It was probably a subconscious effort to counteract all the over-the-top action, screaming warriors, and calling of attacks.

...........Then I went to watching Nanoha. Currently running through all the Sound Stages, then I'll proceed to reading ViVid and Force.

LOL theres no creepy fanservice in Negima(well I guess thats subjective) Theres just the usual panty shot and hot girls who want him.(It focuses more on action and plot later on)

Those anime adaptions suck (its only good if you dont read the manga)

The first adaption has horrible animation, with only a few moments where it was better than the manga.

The second adaption is a spin off and it has great animation and action (it doesnt rely much on fanservice like the first adaption) but it kinda goes fast with the plot and it had a typical open ended ending like most anime have these days.

And you should know by now that my definition of "Creepy" and "Fanservice" differs from yours.
;P

Well what is creepy fanservice for you then?

And now that I remember yeah it was kinda creepy that teenage girls are after a 10 year old boy. (Especially that hot vampire girl who was gonna do him at that age...)

This is how she looks like in her adult form. (Shes extremely powerful)

And this is how she looks like in her normal form.

And btw did you get that message I sent you with all those Stocking pics?

Ever seen Yu Yu Hakusho? Then you've seen a way better version of Bleach (and original version cause it came first). So screw your vs. thread, I'm picking YYH.
