You'd think so, but this is actually misinformed. Blizzard owns Starcraft as a product, and you, the person who buys a copy of the game, only legally own a "lisence to use the product."
Merchant Law is weird like that. Legally, Blizzard can do whatever the ballsack they want and get away with it because they own the product in its entirety. The consumer will always get exactly what they're willing to put up with, sadly.
