Multiple endings, each influenced by your choices and color-coded for your convenience! (Further epic endings planned for post release as downloadable content.)
Ouch!

With the "tens of thousands of collectible hats" and other comments they weren't just trolling EAware.

Fair play.

Shame it takes an April Fool's to bring out a company's stance on a rival though, I say they shouldn't need an excuse to go snipe. How exciting it could be, albeit totally unprofessional!

Wow some company that was once great but has since been corrupted by a corporate giant ragging on another.

The hypocrisy.

You're funny. Were you shaping your tinfoil hat while you typed this out?

Blizzard and Bioware are both still great. Anyone arguing otherwise hasn't been paying much attention. Bioware has probably been affected by EA, but I see no proof that Blizzard has ever been influenced by Activision.

Anyways... April Fool's is awesome. I wish more devs made fun of their fellow companies every year.

I love good sported 'take that's from one company to anothe-

Oh wait! I just remembered I don't like Blizzard; so clearly this is mean-spirited and serious slander. Clearly.

I lol'd. I also find it funny that people take so much offense that Blizzard makes a joke of Bioware.
And I thought Blizzard fanboys were bad...

I know I'm not holding an extremely popular position on Blizzard, but there was not one time I called, for instance, the story of Starcraft 2 complete garbage on the level of the Star Wars prequel movies, that I got so much as an objection to, never mind actual counter points. Which, by the way, is exactly how Diablo 3 looks like it's going to be, too. Nothing but shlock.
Meh? Blizzard's storytelling has always been schlock. It's not like they were titans of storytelling and now they've collapsed into ruin. It's just business as usual. Blizzard's strength was always game mechanics and polish, and Starcraft 2 was no exception in that regard.

So all the new pet and mount transactions, class/race transfer transactions, etc, aren't all a part of the Activision business model? Ah good to know that it's actually Blizzard trying to milk WoW players of money instead of Activision telling them to do so.

Much as I'd like to go on another rant about how much more they suck now even if I accepted your premise, this isn't much of a relevant point here. I'm asking what changed for the better.
Well that's just revisionist history. The tone and structure of the portion of post I replied to implied Blizzard had undergone some kind of dramatic collapse in their storytelling quality. Which was nonsense, because there was never any quality there to begin with.
