Yeah, I've been thinking about it and I don't think there is actually any way to definitively stop the BNP apart from Governments actually doing a good job. I mean the Government could either specifically ban the BNP, which would leave the BNP and their votes very unhappy and the problem would become minimal but never fully disappear though the media and general public, while feeling uneasy because it's a restriction of free speech, would I think overall support the move; or they could create some legislation which would either ban extremist parties or cleverly word it so that it only really covers the BNP, but again that would be a dodgy move. Alternatively, someone such as Gordon Brown could do it anyway as he'll be gone soon enough, get a law passed (which I think would probably be supported by the majority of Government, considering the main 3 all hate the BNP) banning the BNP, get heavily criticised, resign, and I don't think that any appeals against the new law would actually be accepted.
