If I was trapped in a room with Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, and Bobby Kotick and had a gun with 2 bullets, I'd shoot Kotick twice. Jeez I hate that guy.
Kotick is exceptionally talented at keeping Activision in the press at all times. He's not a real person, he's like Emmanuel Goldstein - just someone for you to focus your hate onto, so that you never stop paying attention to Activision.

Kotick, look, there's a reason you have your job, I'm sure. But whatever that reason is, it's not because you do good things for PR- So, for the good of your company, your employees, and not least, your reputation, shut up and get back in your cave and torture some peons or whatever it is you do when you're not making idiotic comments that generate negative community emotions towards you.
You shouldn't hate the games just because the developers are owned by assholes. Before any of you get angry at me for trolling or some bullshit, let me just say that I agree he's an ass, and I am a hardcore gamer. The issue isn't that people don't visit these sites. In fact thats a good thing they don't, because if they did they wouldn't sign with us on the issue. You know what they would think?

So he thinks Bungie is the best indie developer in the world. WHO HONESTLY CARES WHAT HE THINKS? It's like somone saying that the New England Patriots are better than the Green Bay Packers. Kotick is being a kiss-ass/fan-boy.
This is not that big of a deal. By complaining over his tiny comment, all you are doing is proving the stereotype "that gamers are immature brats who fuss over nothing all day" is correct.
