They didn't make Halo Wars; Ensemble did.Daystar Clarion said:Bungie? You mean those guys who've made the same game over and over for the past 10 years? (Except Halo Wars of course).

You shouldn't hate the games just because the developers are owned by assholes. That's like hating soldiers because they're drafted into a war; or hating the cook at a restraunt because the manager called you a douche. i.e. you can like black ops as still hate kotick without being a hypocrite, or an ignorant ass.Wolfram01 said:Ugh!
Saddens my that some of my friends actually asked me if I'll be pre ordering Black Ops too. It's the people who don't frequent gaming sites, and don't know of how evil Kotic is, that will support their products... and sadly, that's a LOT of people.
I think it's no use because the problem is that most people who buy Activisions games, like mw2 are just people who don't frequently visit gaming websites. So there are more then enough people who buy his games no matter what he does.Scrumpmonkey said:Actually no, the more we talk about it the less reputable Activsion becomes. He's not just some meaningless, feckless bastard like Jack Thompson. He is the head of the biggest publishing comglomerate IN THE WORLD and who recently brought out the most profitable entertainment product in the world. Drawing attention to his disregard for gaming as an industry can only be a positive thing. This man is harmful to gaming and the more his words are exposed the more people will realise this.Beryl77 said:Everyone, just stop talking and posting on forums about. That's exactly what he wants. I know it's hard not to do that because he's an asshole who eats the souls of little children for breakfast. But he's just like all Trolls, if you don't feed them, they'll disappear after a while.
I quite agree with you, Calumon.Jack and Calumon said:GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I feel another rant coming on! I want to throttle this man! I REALLY DO!
Calumon: Now he's just being silly.

Doesn't all living things "disappear" if you don't feed them?Beryl77 said:Everyone, just stop talking and posting on forums about. That's exactly what he wants. For example, in my class nearly every boy has mw2 but they hardly even know who Activision is, let alone Kotick. On most websites where this stuff is being posted, people know what he is anyway.
We're just kind of advertising for him, bad reputation isn't always something bad.
Not for the next few years anyway, sadly!Scrumpmonkey said:Haha i love tucker, i honestly think his shareholders like this kind of thing, profit for profit's sake has always been the problem when it comes to creative industries but Kotick has it down to an IP-stealing, lawsuit abusing, staf firing, bonus denying, legal loophole art form. The manis a dick, his company acts as a dick but they are good at it.Boba Frag said:I quite agree with you, Calumon.Jack and Calumon said:GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

The man is still allowed near journalists? Hilariously poor communications management if you ask me.
Activision should hire this fellow here to keep Kotick's foot in mouth syndrome under control His name is Malcolm Tucker. Do not... annoy him.
Here we see another problem, his shareholders prorbaly don't really like games and certainly don't care about gamers. The people who he is more responsible to probably have less regard for gaming than he does. The only thing that will stop this is consumer back-lash and sadly i don't see that comming any time soon.
