Aww. Why is it that every time that somebody might die in a hilarious fashion somebody has to stop it. I like people dying.
If an anvil falls from the sky and kills you I will believe in a God.

If I get suspended/banned for this and the person I am quoting doesn't it may well cancel out the anvil/faith possibility.

EDIT: I am glad the victim is ok/survived.

Well, I'm late to the party now, since the ordeal is over, to express any real concerns for the girls wellbeing so I guess I can just say I'm glad she survived.

The perpetrator of the crime however should get whatever's coming to them.

YEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH

OT: Man that's horrible
I'm surprised she's so calm. Most people would really lose their head in panic.
That was shamefully good.

OT: Wow, that's pretty damn creative for extortion. Yeah the whole "For every hour you don't give us the money we'll cut off a finger" sounds very clique but it sounds like the guy went for the "I'm gonna make sure people know about this route".

Horrible, vile person but wow they know how to be different o_O

And here I thought I was done hearing about collar bombs after Marjorie Diehl Armstrong got life in prison.
IKR that was the first thing I thought of when I read the title. sadly the pizza dude (cant remember his name) didnt make it, but its nice to see this girl made it.

Something similar happened here in America. Well, similar in the fact that some pizza delivery dude had a bombed strapped to his neck.

Unfortunately his bomb went off, and he died. It really was like in the movies though, cause when all was said and done, it turned out the pizza delivery guy was in on it...

...See his accomplices convinced him that if he had a fake bomb strapped to his neck, he could rob a bank and get off free with it. Then, his accomplices put a real bomb on him with the assumption, that once he delivered the money, they would simply let it explode and kill him.

The way it played out however, he robbed the bank, but then was surrounded by police, who tried to disarm the bomb. As you already know, this did not work out. If I remember correctly he was the only one hurt though. Oh, and to make things a little worse, the guy was legally retarded, so there's that too.

The good news is, all of his accomplices were caught and brought to justice.

In fact, heres a link, the guys name is Brian Wells

I can boast that this happened where I live, and I was there when it happened. sad that he didnt make it.

Jesus christ.
Lot of horrible people around these few weeks.
Hope he gets what he deserves.
And although i have little sympathy for rich people, i can always make exceptions when it's actually terrifying and horrible.

Thank god they got the bomb off her.
But this did remind me of Fallout 3.

So... someone in Australia heard about that minute 30 minutes or less <url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Wells_%28bank_robber%29>(which is based on something that actually happened in Erie Pennsylvania) and thought, "hey, I can do that!"

Wonderful I'm so glad that Pennsylvania is once again positively influencing the world.

Glad to hear the situation was resolved without a death. This has happened before in other parts of the world with more tragic conclusions, good to see this one didn't end badly. As much as I resent the rich, I don't see why anyone would try something so sadistic and strange.

Thats what we do, Erie is a nice influence on everyone. I live there and I was there when Brian Wells blew up, the cops made us clear out so I never got to see him.

Well I have to ask, what game came out in Australia that features strapping bombs to teenage girls so they can put the blame where it belongs?

Anyways, it's good that they got the bomb off.

My guess?

Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Those are next on the choping block. But don't worry, I have 100 in speech. I'm sure I can get them to listen!

Am I the only one who automatically thought this;

In other news, good luck to the bomb squad guys, and I hope the girl isn't panicking too much :3 [who am I kidding, I'd be running around squealing like a piggy]

You're not the only one. I was thinking about Battle Royale too. If you haven't read it, I recommend the manga version 1000%.

That said, that man is sick! No one deserves that.

Turns out there was no explosives in it. Which I guess is a good thing if something WAS to go wrong. Apparently there were rumors that it was a prank but considering the ordeal and stree on her, I rather doubt it.

There was alot of puns in regards to it though, but the Sunrise news went all Nazi on it saying they're hurtful. (When they weren't DIRECTLY ....directed to the 18 year old)

@Sneaky-Pie, how did you manage to beat us Aussies to the post on this anyway?
