Great minds and all that. Eisenhorn or someone similar could work in an environment like quite well, ravenor probably not as much... I mean who wants to control a strange metal wedge.
Also moral choice could work quite well, are you puritan and just fighting of heretics and Xenos or a bit radical using the power of the warp to your advantage... or just somewhere boring in the middle.
Ravenor could work, but only before he got burnt. :p
And I agree about the moral choice system, but only if the consequences of your choices have actual impact on the gameplay. If I start using daemonhosts and the like to beat my opponents I don't just want people who know about it to shun me, I want - nay, demand - half the Ordo Hereticus on my Radical ass.
If it ever gets made, though, I know at least one person who'll crucify it on sight or possibly smother it to death with his silly hat. :p
Well Ravenor would just be part of your team if you play as Eisenhorn then. Yeah there'd have to be important changes, I think its Ordos Malleus you mean though, it'd be worth it just to punch Heldane in his smug wolf/bear/horse face.
Hmm said person would have to get over it. Besides half the time I disagree with him, doesn't mean he's not funny.
Oh, someone really knows their fluff/literature! Yeah, true, if it's about the protagonist using daemonhosts it'd probably be the guys from Malleus wanting to talk to you, but I sort of meant that being a radical in itself will most likely get you attention from Hereticus because being a radical more often than not makes you employ tactics, devices or people the Ordo Hereticus considers 'not kosher', and being an employee of the Ordo Hereticus means that your top two job descriptions will be "Root out traitors among the Inquisition" and "Burn the witch and any who collaborate with them".
Still, I agree, it'd be very satisfying to shove a few bolt rounds up Heldane's arse. God, how I hated that guy when I was reading the books.

How about a game based off of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Set after an alternate ending of such where he isn't killed by Van Helsing and his buddies but instead has free reign over England and western Europe, perhaps even America.

RPG style with combat depending on whether you want to be the monstrous wolf-like form for pure power or a mist form where you can more easily dodge and out manuver your enemies or maybe a form where you use vampiric magic to kill and manipulate your enemies.

A classic tale like this one would deserve a brilliant storyline so I think Bioware would be a good developer choice. It would also serve as a reminder of what vampires should be: Badass killing machines, that do not sparkle.

Anyone here ever played the Martian Chronicles adventure game? Now that is one bizarre-ass game...

I really liked the book, though.

I consider myself told! On the whole Ordo side of things if it was made and it was a whole create a character thing like Oblivion then I guess you could choose which Ordo you belonged too as well. Although I doubt many people would go for Mallues as Xenos would involve bombing around taking down heretics and Xenos and the like a Hereticus would be all about taking out rouge Inqusitors and similar. Plus Mallues means Heldane would probably be your ally. Of course you'd have to have "Special Condition" as well. Yeah I hated him too. Even worse that he pops up in the Gaunts Ghosts books as well.

OK, best ones by far:
The odyssey, like an action RPG.
The Animorphs series. I really can't think of a genre.

I like this idea better than books into movies because you can fit much more into a game than into a movie, and add extra content too.

DUNE! Because it hasn't been done right yet. It should be an RPG.

Also, while I haven't read The Alchemist, a sandbox-style game where you get to run around and be all alchemical sounds awesome.
I could see Dune being fairly similar to the KOTOR games.

A vampire game based on the Anne Rice novel could be cool. And it could be an MMORPG, since everybody is so big into those anymore.

I've heard that there is an 'Ender's Game' game in the works. This will me good methinks. At least I hope so. Hopping around in zero-G with laser guns seems pretty sweet.

If they add in the simulation aspects... well I just might giggle a little bit :D

The Mistborn Trilogy would make the BEST GAME EVARRR! Brandon Sanderson is already so good at world building, and I would love to explore the Last Empire and play around with all of the different powers.

Come to think of it, the books really read like an epic, totally immersive game. So yeah.

Super Mario Bros. (1) turned into a book for little children would be wonderful.

But if we're talking novels, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

i'd buy it. that book is awesome.
the bean sequels would make a great rpg or rts. maybe even an mmo.

edit: discworld would be another good one for a mmo, they have a map, multiple races, even a few potential classes. again i'd play it.
