It'd be somewhat interesting to see The Great Tree of Avalon as a game, and maybe The Hunger Games, but I'm totally against books to games in general. Why? Books are story driven, containing a lot of plot exposition and diologue. Games do too, obviously, but if you look at, say, the Halo novels other than The Flood (Which was based off of the game pretty heavily), you can really tell how much more focused they are on plot than gameplay. Even in The Flood, any scene not from the game is thick with plot exposition, and wouldn't make for very good gameplay. Books to game would really need to trash the book, throwing away a lot of the story and inserting much more action, which would really hurt the fans of the books.
Unless you want every game to be a book like Heavy Rain.
