Lol I got it for Christmas, but ya at least the story is done took him quite a while. It just tried to be too much like Lord of the Rings, Im pretty sure he did that so that he can use Alagaesia as a setting for more books, without Eragon being able to come in and destroy whatever threat there was in 3 pages. Also I thought it was quite refreshing how for once the hero didnt get the girl. I mean its strongly implied that Arya has feelings of a sort for him, and shes just smart enough to know better, but still
