Aside from textbooks, I just finished the last book in the Eragon series like 2 weeks ago. Good book, stupid as shit ending.

Oh sure, ruin the ending for me right when I have the last book right...

Wait a second... That's right! I already assumed that the ending was going to suck simply based on how absolutely terrible Brisingr ended... By the gods, why did I put down money on the fourth book? Curse you, green dragon!!!

Lol I got it for Christmas, but ya at least the story is done took him quite a while. Just wait till you finish it though, the ending makes no sense and completely made the main character seem like a selfish ass.

I thought Eragon already came off as a selfish ass. The whole 'turning into an elf' thing didn't help matters any.

Dare I ask, without spoilers, is there a green dragon? Or do they wait until the last 20 pages to throw this in?

Douglas Adams: The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy series (all of it)

If I was on vacation, that would be a good thing. Unfortunately for me, I'm not on vacation, and I read books at work to kill time while I'm waiting for a car to work on. Since the work load at my shop is so light, I get to spend a lot of time sitting on my ass reading. If I got paid by the clock hour, I wouldn't mind it so much. Sucks that I get paid by the job.

The Waste Lands (The Dark Tower Volume III) by Stephen King, and a book on American history I borrowed from the library.

I have just finished Wizard and Glass (Dark Tower Vol IV,) and am moving onto Wolves of the Calla (Vol V)

Enjoying them very much. Apart from some bits of The Drawing of the Three which felt awkward, it's really good at this stage, I'm hooked. Unfortunately I've been looking for Wizard and Glass in several Waterstone's, but I couldn't find it. Someone keeps buying it before me.

In the middle of The Painted Man (Warded Man in the US) by Peter V. Brett.

It's actually pretty decent, despite no real plot forming for a good portion (I'm 200 pages in, and it has 543 pages). Honestly, I like it because it has characters and we get to see them having experiences in life, thus getting to know not only them, but the world they live in.

Friend of mine keeps telling me I should read that. One of these days, I suspect I will.

It would be best if you first read the free sample of it on Amazon, as it may or may not appeal to your taste, so best not to waste money, eh?

Over the past few months I've read 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and am currently getting into Tad Williams (War of the Flowers)

Discarding college class books about not much of anything and web design, I have been reading a Sherlock Holmes compilation that my friend gave to me for christmas, it has been really interesting to continue. I had already read part of it, but life wouldn't allow me to keep it from the local library too long.

Aside from that I've been terribly interested in the Discworld series since my friend started reading it and telling me of a few details.

Oh lord, House of Leaves. Perhaps the best book I ever read.

I'm currently making my way through A Storm of Swords. Martin really isn't afraid to kill off main characters, is he?

Before that again: Bearers of the black staff. Disappointing book, really :/ I'd heard so many good things about Terry Brooks' writing.

Planning to read: The Magician's apprentice, The name of the wind

Oh and also reading three psychology textbooks, which combined is about 1600 pages.

In case I get done reading these books and the rest, I've still got the Complete Works of William Shakespeare on my shelf.
